Survivors: Why Do You Clicky Clicky Teabag...
...If you don't want me to chase you?
Had a game earlier that got under my skin a bit.
A Jake with what looks like a legacy skin sent me to Eyrie, with me as Pig. Oh joy.
Spammed his flashlight macro as soon as he saw me, very good player but got cocky, was able to mindgame him at the gym and get a down.
He gets his hat off and sure enough, bbbrrrrrr strobey teabag teabag when I find him and a Yui at the central gen. I chase him, lose him, locate him again, chase him all the way around those silly main structure vaults, eventually get him with an Ambust, down him and hook him. Failed attempt at a window fake.
A few minutes later I hook the Yui. He's back. Unhooks her in my face then brrrrrr. Teabagging away. Drops a pallet and teabags again. So I chase him down, get him with the same dumb Otzdarva mindgame at the gym. He dies, team gets a 2o at the end of the day with the Claudette and the Kate on their death hooks.
Postgame (edited for profanity):
Jake: 'nice tunnel scrublord'.
Me: 'Uh, what tunnel?'
Jake: ' dont play stupid you spent half the game up my butt'.
Me: 'You were spamming your flashlight and teabagging me. I thought you wanted me to chase you?'
Jake: 'grow up and take a joke like man next time'.
Jake: 'noob'.
Jake: 'people like you make this game not fun to play'.
I log off for the evening, my faith in humanity a little bit worse for the wear.
Survivors: Don't be this Jake. If you seek to get my attention, don't complain when you succeed. Or better yet, manner up.

I have no issue dedicating 100% of my attention to such people...
Of course, after they're dead, I suddenly lose all my powers and skills (what with my bloodlust being sated) and somehow end up eating every pallet, two hooking everyone else, giving everyone lots of chases/heals, and getting 3e'ed on.
Real shame that I was just not as good once my mindless rage subsided, resulting in almost max points for everyone else (sorry about their 2k BP/item/add on/offering loss), easier matches for me, and a chiller time overall :)

He’s just an a**hole. I’m sorry that happened to you. Not every survivor is like that. There some good ones trust me!

It is something beyond human control. It honestly used to make me spaz but playing with a mic, I learn why they do it. For some reason, arousing the killer's ire is funny. Not when one is killer, of course. It's a natural reaction to the role.
My friend plays on PC and he does this rapid fire flashlight clicking that makes me laugh really hard. Again, not funny when such is directed at me...but I understand now.

Also, I know to expect a facecamp. I humbly accept my perdition and actually have grown to like it.

As a fellow Jake main, I condemn this mofo for being a sore loser.
Dear survivor mains...
If you T-Bag during chase, at the exit gate, click flashlights faster than life itself, you are considered to be a prick and are no better than those toxic campers/tunnelers you so despise.
Learn to play the game casually and stop trying to gloat.
We're all here to have fun, not frustrate one another for personal amusement.

Everyone, don't believe such lies! Each and every last survivor is out for Killer blood! Attack is he best defense, so tunnel them all!!11 D:
But jokes aside, the best way to deal with such people is to just ignore them. They are often so desperate to get your attention that they will follow you and hover around you as to not miss an opportunity to harass you or go for a flashlight save, that its actually free map pressure and a pseudo 3v1 for you.
1 -
That's my usual take on it too, why chase someone that's basically chasing themselves on your behalf by following you around all game not touching gens.
If they do touch a gen chase em off maybe let em get a stun when you leave em they'll usually follow you to taunt you some more and provide you with more free pressure. Once its down to 2v1 then feel free to commit to them and get them out of the game.
Wait for the usual "you couldn't catch me without tunneling" etc post game ego meltdown.
Say GG and move on.

I don't usually give any attention to people that do clickies and bags, but survivors are survivors.. a lot of them are very full of themselfs.

Clicky clicky is how i know you're between the ages of 15-25 and you're a tool.
6 -
It would be funny if those people were forced to play m1 killer for a week.
5 -
I do. I played Sadako this week. But i am not clicky clicky survivor. If killer hits me on hook, i am paying back.
2 -
I just say please can i get another one. Why get so upset about something like that. Just laugh and have fun.

Age shaming isnt anybetter tbh.
There are 12 year olds more grown up then 30 year olds.
Age doesnt say anything there.
1 -
I do it, so killer mains can ramp up their post count in this forum while they tell their "DBD war-stories" that nobody wants to hear. Consider it a community service.

Such brave. Much hero.

Trying to taunt other side of players and making them mad is valid strategy in this game, wow cool what a sportsmanship.
0 -
It's great that you actually bringt that up, because it really is a valid strategy, maybe not the most ethical one, but a valid one.
0 -
So you have nothing else to actually say beside "this is valid", I don't think you need two lines of sentence to say that.
I'm being sarcastic because it's valid, if it wasn't valid I have no reason to act like that.

I usually clickie clickie but I just want attention, but I'm like deadgirljimmy because I'm friendly but It's the other side of toxicity. I don't get salty but I found a trickster camping and I haven't did anything to him because I have a med-kit.
I said to him on the xbox dms
Me: "Why were you camping?"
Trickster: "cool"
Me: "It's not cool of how you have to do that even though us survivors haven't did nothing to you."
Then he ignores me because I was right and he was wrong.
I got called a fortnite kid once when I was playing ROBLOX when I killed somebody on a game. I am only 18 years old and I hate those kind of people who have minds of a mynabird.

Clickly clicky.. what an annoying term for flashlight clicking, just call it flashlight clicking.
1 -
Exactly this

clicky clicky is 12 characters, flashlight clicking is 18 characters.

I wouldn't take this personal dude. Yes there are some just doing it to be a douche (The ones doing it safely at exit gates) but majority of time it's to try to help the team. Like I would do to try an get you to chase me instead of tunneling down my weak teammates or if I just have not been hooked yet to keep pressure off my team. In the end it's a flashlight in a party game after all. Technically it won't do much unlike tunneling and camping which ruins the entire game for one survivor.

I'm glad you got the better of Jake and sacrificed them. What an annoying and delusional player..
Better luck the next games, luckily most other players are nice people :)

Idk, why do killers shake their heads at me and hit me on the hook when they finally down me after I managed to juke them a couple times? Salt defies logic. There is no answer that will satisfy you because there is no answer that makes sense or amounts to anything more than "I was salty/trolling."
1 -
Personally, the only time I bag is if you're a straight tunneler.
But, as far as why people get salty about it, I think it is all the fragile egos hiding behind computer screens.
Toxic people are just Toxic.
Had a Nemesis, tunnel camp me all game, DS, tunneled, camped at EGC with noed.
Then says, "ggs" and sends me a friend request, SMH.
1 -
You...do realize that the strobing messes people with photosensitivity issues up pretty badly?
Mine are minor, and it still gives me a pretty bad headache on a darker map. I've also had survivors tell me in postgame that they hope to give someone a seizure one day.
How is this valid?
1 -
It’s the same reason people do touchdown dances or trash talk in sports. Which is kind of dumb there too but it’s the same psychology.
1 -
Fair enough, and I appreciate your perspective. Now, i just replied with GG, but obviously ignored the friend request.
0 -
Or you know...he ignored you because maybe his mom called him for something, he came back at totally forgot about the interaction between him and a random person he couldn't care enough about to remember the conversation you had? There's like 15 million reasons he didn't respond
0 -
I literally only tbag my other survivors to see how long we both tbag for before they give up (I always win) 😂
1 -
Which is why there are rules in sports - at least most of them. Showboating will likely get you fined, trash talking can get you officially censured or thrown off your team.
2 -
Right. And if you’re abusive in chat you can get a temporary ban in this game too. They’re not going to ban people for t-bagging in the game or whatever. It’s annoying but not worth the effort to try and kick people out of the game over it.
1 -
Teabagging - whatever. It's a taunt or a gloat. If you do it to me, I'm going to chase you, down you, hook you and probably ensure that you die. Postgame...well, chances are I'll see you again eventually - and I'll remember you.
My point is more that people seem to be able to give it - but then complain bitterly when it results in them having to take it.
Flashlight macros do honestly need a look though, as they can be actively harmful to people.
1 -
Totally on the same page as you. They really should cap the flightlight on and off animation and sound to once per second.

Killers: Why Do You Tunnel And Camp If You Don't Wanna Get Ds Stunned?
0 -
It's not shaming im just generalizing on the general demographic that probably does this behaviour.
0 -
I am a killers dream because I won't stop until that other person stops, wasting time instead of doing gens, lol
1 -
"Its just a mind game bro"
0 -
Because...wait what?
Why would camping have an interaction with DS?
0 -
Wtaf happens there in NA??!!
0 -
People in this game are...odd.
Even Otz gets some astonishingly nasty BM in postgame - and that's Otz. Basically a DbD celebrity and proof of smooth evolution between human and teddy bears.
0 -
This content has been removed.
-
And that's he's a dbd celebrity obviously would attract a lot more bm than normal games. Trust me when I say my EU experience is vastly different to his, and even then my AU experience was absolutely stellar. But from tales from the forums it really seems like NA is just a toxic cesspool

With this I somewhat got to agree. And there's isn't much you can do about it. Some people dig ethics, some sheit on them, and the latter will always stick out because of how unpleasant they are to verse.
But while you can laugh off a lot of this behavior it still stands that it is disrespectful. Sure, t-bagging/hitting on the hook is just some immature flexing and can be ignored, but its still showing disrespect to your opponent. And especially the t-bagging at the doors wastes so much time.
0 -
Because killers in precious matches camp standing there because they want a grab instead of hit. Because they tunnel to death. Because they swing before hitting DS hoping you will miss DS. Do you want more reasons?
0 -
And whylat about killer like me that don't do any of that? Am I spared from the usual survivor behaviour? Hell no.
"Quit pro quo" is not nearly a valid reason sometimes.
0 -
Back when I was newer, I did those things a lot.
I haven't camped or tunneled anyone in ages.
I haven't noticed survivors being any more gracious.
0 -
I might try to do it a little bit if I can try to get the killers attention early on since Im usually a better runner than my team mates or if I want to pull the killers attention off of someone who's closer to death than myself.
