Knowing someones rank isnt gonna tell you how good they are plus then getting the end of season reward is gonna be harder sense you cant stay at rank 1 unless you play perfect

Technically you do "derank" when losing as rank is now MMR...and not Grades.

Someone who has a low mmr is going to have an easier time getting Grade 1 than a high mmr starting at Ash4.
The grade system simply doesn't reflect "skill level" anymore even if you allow dropping grade levels.

No. In fact, de-pipping should be gone entirely since Grade has nothing to do with matchmaking and is exclusively for getting a BP reward at reset. My BP reward doesn't affect anyone else but me, so leave it alone.
Matchmaking is often practically turned off anyway due to bad queue times, so what's it even matter, we know the matches are unbalanced.
