PLS REMOVE TAKING THE HATCH HOSTAGE/ UNHOOK GRAB CAMPING
Im tired of toxic killers taking the hatch hostage on the two last survivors and having to bleed to death so my team mate has a chance to exit... at this stage its boring not being able to suicide or DC it's just stupid.
Camping the hook waiting for unhook grab is toxic, stupid and OP, killers should have penalties just like survivors... When we camp we get crows when killer does it its okay and he even gets help at it.
Also the struggle when being carried is ######### there always a hook when I am not even into 40% struggle time..

It is not taking the hostage. Taking hostage means there is no way the other player can finish the game (death or escape).
It might take a long while to finish the game but you or the other survivor will at one moment die so the game still can continue.

Nothing toxic, but I do think grabbing healthy survivors at hooks is a bad game mechanic and should go.

Hatch and keys were overpowered. Having a nice 3-Gen stolen away from you because the game said "Survivors! Here, come take this free escape for letting the Killer get a 3-Gen and almost winning the game" was certainly a problem

sure but then increase the unhook animation so we can down them again before they unhook because its bullshit if they basically get a free unhook, especially if its endgame and they got BT+ they just tank one more.

Thats the problem I know i already lost the game, Why do I need to put up with toxicity.... Add an exception if you are the last bleeding guy you can suicide or DC with no penalty, I have better things to do with my eletricity bill than watching some douche being toxic.

problem is when they dont hit, you stay in the middle of the hooked survivor and the killer, tickling the survivor... :D

Because thats the smartest play and mostly the only one that will secure them a kill.

Unless the hatch spawned between both (nearby) Exits, the Killer cannot camp all three.
If the Killer camps the hatch, go for the exit gate.
If the Killer patrols the exit gates and the hatch, then get 1 red light on one of the exit gates, and sneak back toward hatch. You should have enough time to open the hatch with the key while the Killer thoroughly checks the Exit with lights.

If the Survivors allowed the Killer to camp a Survivor to second stage without doing anything about it, then it was their own fault

Remove the grab when survivors try to unhook. Until you make the killer hit you the hooked survivor will go in second stage. You fk need two survivors to save that guy without going in second stage. These killers that are doing this are just pathetic imo.

Yes survivors should just be able to get an unhook in the killer’s face and leave without getting downed, perfect. It’s almost like people are not supposed to be able to just ignore the threat of the killer being right beside them.

and I know for a fact some of you go for a unhook right in front of the killer and basically farm as I have had multiple games where teammates go for unhooks only to get grabbed because they thought they could just trade

I have gone against survivors who go for a unhook mid chase and had teammates who go for unhooks while being chased by the killer you shouldn't be unhooking unless you know your guaranteed a unhook ESPECIALLY if you don't have bt
It's not the killers fault you should bait out a swing if you want to go for a risky unhook again don't expect free unhooks it's annoying on both sides of the playerbase
Also it's not a free kill you can do many things to get the unhook off

Nothing wrong with your first two paragraphs. In most circumstances Survivors shouldn’t bring the killer to the hook while being chased. I am not saying killers are at fault for anything; I am saying a base mechanic in the game is bad. I still get hook grabs. This is not a player ethics issue or something.
The third paragraph, the killer gets an instadown at a hook where someone else is being sacrificed. It’s a base mechanic that gives all killers the equivalent to a chainsaw hit. That’s why its a ‘but but muh fwee keel.’

The deterrent is getting downed. Not every survivor is willing to do that, especially not in every situation. And the unhooked survivor could be downed again as well.
Zero deterrent is balogna.
Also killers might be more willing to chase survivors without the hook grab mechanic. Isn’t that what makes the game fun? Chases?

Bingo heck when grabs were bugged I seen tons of healthy survivors going for unhooks only to trade without bt leading the unhooked victim getting downed followed by the "rescuer" getting hooked because they were relying on the killer to hit the person on the hook instead of them
And I had this happen to me while I was playing survivor constantly heck one match I had one of the "rescuers" blamed me for not going for unhooks when said rescuer and their friend basically farmed eachother until they were on death hook like I don't have bt I'm not going to risk it as at that point the killer has no reason to leave that hook because of you two if anything you should be blaming your friend
