3 matches in a row, first survivor gets chased, lasts 20 seconds and rage quits on first down. The game is not over cause you got hooked once, this destroys so many matches in solo queue ITS INSANE. Just play the match through, holy moly man...

If anyone asks - this is why there has to be a dc penalty - as sad as this is.

As someone who has issues with their internet I think it should be a gradual increase have the current timer be default and raise it 5 minutes each time it happens because it's gotten to the point where even I'm annoyed

I hate these situations. A part of me wants to go easy and let the survs farm, and another part wants to kill em all asap to put us all out of our misery. Either way it makes me feel terrible.

That would only make survivors kill themselves on hook more. Had a Meg throw herself into second as soon as she got hooked. She got unhooked and then proceeded to stand there and let the killer down and hook her again.
I ask her why she did this and she stated that she didn't like going against the Nurse and it was better than just RQ.

I have to agree that it’s super annoying. I can’t tell you how many winnable games I’ve lost thanks to people giving up on first hook. If you try and stop them from throwing the game they’ll often throw a huge fit. I really wish they would permanently ban regular abusers or at least alter the game in a way that doesn’t ruin it for everybody.

Survivor side is at it's worst state. So many oppressive killer perks, killers like Blight not being nerfed or exploits fixed.
It could fixed by adding incentives to stay in the match, add multiple ways to escape (revert the extreme hatch nerf). Repairing 5 gens is impossible most matches.
I literally repaired a gen 3 times in a match the other day. PGTW, Pain Resonance prevented the thing from being fixed. I almost blew a gasket.

I played as Spirit for the first time in a while last night and had 3 DCs in two matches, all at the beginning. Like, really? She's not even remotely OP anymore.
I had to use Bubba the other night for a daily and in one match I had 2 DC's the first time they heard the chainsaw.
Put on your adult pants and play the damned game, ffs.

People rage quit against any killer these days. They rage quit against like Legion or Clown.

I play Legion all the time - it's rare when I get a disconnect or they suicide. I try to put a little personality into a match rather than just brutally butcher everyone, so maybe that has something to do with it.
After awhile experienced survivors pretty much know if the match is going to fail for survivors either because of rando teammates or if a god nurse shows up for example - so they just want to move on to another.

It's funny how people do this despite all the que time bullshit and DC penalty, I mean at least suicide on hook so you will not get penalty?

I would advocate for raising the DC penalty if not for cheating/hostage taking being as big of a problem as it is.

Just implement surrender after 20 minutes of a match and raise DC penalty by a large margin.

Dedication and passion for whom? Only their own self-interest. (I am talking about first down/first Kipper sighting DC btw)
If you don't like to play against a certain (set of) character(s) then why even play the game if you instantly leave the other 4 players to a miserable match when it does not go your way?
There is a minimum chance of roughly 4% to encounter your unliked killer, more with more characters.
I personally hate yasuo, Yone, master Yi and a bunch of other characters when i play ADC in league of legends but i don't rage quit when i get them in the enemy team.
Ragequitting like that isn't a show of passion or dedication but a lack of spine or backbone in my eyes.

Funny how it's the same from the other side. Killer side is also at its worst state. To many very strong survivor perks. Hit and run style basicly dead. If you really want to get going you are literally forced to play one of 2 killers even so we have 26.
And I don't do this to mock you but what you experienced with the Gen I have experienced as a killer to.
I chase the Jake I down him I want to pick up blind. Down him again hook Sabo plus body block plus bad luck with the hooks. I down him yet again flaschbang pallet another blind and as I can see again I see Jake is full health again because boon plus medkit
