I finally versed a forum member! But the result wasn't what I expected :D
Hello everyone.
About 6h back I got a rather cryptic post on my steam profile. Normally I get all kind of salty and angry posts when I tunneled someone or whatever, but this one here .. it was decidedly different.
I think it was a game where I played Onryou at either Midwich Elementary or one of the Scrap Yard maps, but I am not sure, because I played a couple of matches today. I don't remember playing particularly mean or toxic, as my games as the Onryou are still rather chill, but I guess I still comitted one of the bigger faux pas.
I mean, I feel honored that someone I versed recognized me, even though it apparently wasn't that good of an impression, but the whole affaire still confused me, leading me to dig a bit around my own comments. And low and behold, I found the forum entry the person was referring.. its from February 23rd! One throwaway humorous post of mine STUCK in someones head and lived there rent free for nearly a month, till that person versed me and FINALLY could vent it all. This literally made my day :D
i don't know what else to say, but I wanted to share this curiosity with you peeps.
And DUDE! If I offended you in any way, I am honestly sorry. I assure you that I am not half the terrible, horrible person you might think I am and I am extending a hand to you to sort it all out. Who knows, maybe we can both grow by this incidend and make dbd a little bit less toxic :)

I've faced and played with quite a few and normally it ends in disaster for me because ofc the one game I decide to try a meme build or a killer I don't play is the one game I face them 🏃🏻

I am pretty convinced most forum members are hypocrites. I played against quiet a few and all of them played in a way they actually claim to be against LOL

Hypocrisy is fun and all but mans attacked you directly about forum posts because of a match of dbd, what did you do to this poor soul to incite such emotion.

I don't know, but I wanna find out :D

I want to see someone get mad an read every single one of my forum posts to find something to get mad at me about. I want to watch them descend into madness once they realize I'm just a massive funposter.

What did you do to set this man off? Like bro is pissed.

Don't worry about it, I'M still proud of you! I'm sure you were a super nice killer who was very respectful and fair in the game.

I am in no way surprised that some of these forum members are terrible people. The daily cry baby threads are very telling.

Yeah I hate noed but I had to use it for the “hit survivors when exposed challenge”

It was secretly me!

Really? I mean, there are quite a few ways to expose survivors, (or expose yourself to them, but that's how you find the scariest gates are in jail)
I like noed, or at least don't think it needs to be changed, but when I'm doing an exposed challenge I prefer starstruck+agitation, maybe throw some Iron Maiden on (I main doc as killer, so the Maiden is my most frequent dance partner). Noed will instantly expose all 4 when activated, but it's at the end of the game, smart survivors can quickly break the totem or just leave before you get to them, and worse, they may boon/break all the totems before you even get a chance to use it. Maiden always catches at least one, and I can use them to expose the rest, if I don't get them all in one run, no worries, I still have the entire match to get the rest of them.
That being said, if noed makes the challenge work for you, I'm all for it.

I use both noed and haunted😂

That's deliciously evil!
I love it!!!

I expected so much! So, uh, is this part of your Exposed-challenge? I guess it worked.

I exposed myself and the survivors I sacrificed

That's not what I am talking about. I talk about people who claim in here they hate:
Four man swf stacks with meta builds and/or coh but happily run all of those perks in their own 4 man groups, people who state they are against bm'ing, yet when you encounter them ingame will happily flashlight clicky-clicky and tbag you when they realize the killer is struggling. People who criticise face camping, slugging and tunneling in here and yet that's exactly how they play in game.
And no, I am not over exaggerating. I could name all the individuals I am talking about but I won't for obvious reasons ("naming and shaming") also it won't change their behavior anyways.

Nah I understand what you mean

I wonder who would run CoH even though they hate it.... couldn't be me

Imagine pissing someone off by playing D tier killer.

As killer I've versed members of this forum several times (The ones in Europe, obviously).
Some are very good and I've got them on my friend list on Steam. (My steam name is very different.) I still regularly see one of them post here.
Some are pretty bad and salty.
It may surprise you to know the good ones aren't part of the legion of salty crybabies we see on a regular basis. They all play(ed) both roles.
It may shock you to know that among the aforementioned salty crybabies, none had any kind of skills. I'm speaking less than 100 hours level. I must confess that, recognizing the name of a self-proclaimed pros I wasn't ... gentle. Nothing bad : no tunnel, no camp (no need). I just didn't play as nice and silly as I usually do when I verse weak survivors. They were pretty salty in the end game chat though. What essentially transpired was that I was a noob for killing them.
I don't allow comments so my profile stays clean.
