If it's not FNAF Could it Possibly be Slender Man?
I know the newspapers look more towards FNAF however, if it's not FNAF teases could it possibly be teasing Slender Man?
Slender The Arrival has many different forums on newspaper articles that you find through out the game saying Local Boy missing, Fire erupting at Oakside Park, Oakside sells mining facilty, and a couple others out there. Now besides that stuff there's also the Lery's sound we have now I don't feel it makes sense to be a teaser however, if it is a teaser for the next chapter all that static could point to Slender but, again that's highly unlikely.
This is just a theory though.

Ah yes, newspapers. 'Cause those can't be in reference to everything that ever featured a newspaper, something commonly used to distribute news in fiction.

my inner 12 yr old would love to have slenderman in the game but what i would love even more than that is seeing all the fnaf fans seethe when it isnt springtrap again.

I've been wanted FNAF in DBD for so long now that I truly wouldn't care if it got in at this point, I think it's agreed on if FNAF doesn't get in THIS anniversary, then it probably won't get in until a long time from now.

Maybe if the newspaper was coming from the main game Twitter, not mobile that has different release schedule and doesn't share anniversary with main game.

True but stopped at year 3 when we got Ghostface.
Not gonna lie I would rather have Slenderman then Springtrap but sadly Springtrap has a higher chance to be in DBD than Slenderman.
Loved the HP Lovecraft feeling and how he can fit in almost any horror story.

it won't be, mathieu cote already said in an interview that he won't put slenderman because he doesn't want to ruin the nature of the character, slenderman doesn't hit anyone, he doesn't walk, and much less will he pick up a survivor from the ground, unfortunately

Sadako didn't really do those things either.
She never hit anyone, she doesn't really walk she crawls and she doesn't physically pick up Survivors either.

I'd say Slender has a better chance than FNAF, so long as BHVR isn't completely tone-deaf, which considering the NFT's....

Would actually love Slender more than Fnaf. Usually I just say Fnaf since people shout it more often than Slender which is mentioned only during a Blood Moon so I assume it's never gonna be a chapter
Fnaf is pretty good but Slenderman is older and deserves some redemption after all the crap that happened to him. The Map would be amazing, power most likely a Stealth killer that would make survivors nervous all the time, most unique power in the game based on the Slender Arrivial game. Possible skins for original killers making references to Creepypastas that were popular back in the day.
Sadly most likely never happened since he is overshadowed by almost every Horror IP that people want ingame.
Another thing is the person who owns Slenderman was actually discovered and actually responded to a content creator so if BHVR wanted Slenderman it could be done quite easily.....I mean contacting the owner that is.
Lastly I just think he fits perfectly in DBD's theme. A being that is like a HP Lovecraft being that plays cat and mouse with people trying to escape him. I can also see him being tied to the Entity in some way or just showing up in the realm like Pinhead.
Overall I do agree with you but most likely we will never see Slenderman in game unless some Hype train pops up.

The more they look at him the more Static their screen gets or something like that.
It's clear as day, I can see it in Charlie's eyes and smile that he is about to ask whether the new killer will be springtrap from fnaf.

I doubt it's either. They don't really fit for DBD and it's literally just a newspaper. That's in like everything. Plus it's DBD Mobile posting it. They always post these types of things. I could sit here and say it's Evil Within because that game has newspapers that show up from time to time in your safe area telling some story. I doubt they teased anything yet.
