What do you think the answer would be?
I don´t use most of them.

I use iron will. I wasn't aware NOED was a meta perk though.

They do their job although I think running 4 meta perks every game is absolutely boring

Iron Will and NOED are meta? I think they're just perks people complain about because they wont adapt their playstyle.

NOED is "meta"?
Iron Will is "meta"?
Dead Hard... yea I see that one a lot
But anyways to answer your question... Survivors first
Iron Will is strong... but mildly selfish
Dead Hard is extremely selfish (but then again all Exhaustion perks are)
DS has to be selfish to even work... No working on Gens, no Healing yourself or teammates, no Cleansing or Blessing Totems (so on and so forth)
COH isn't selfish by any means... but it's really strong
Killers now...
Corrupt delays the start of a match... but Gens can still be done
Ruin/Undying apply Regression without kicking (bonus Regression at that) and Undying helps Ruin stay active
DMS/ PR apply 15% loss of Progression and Blocks a Gen for 30-/+ seconds
Deadlock Blocks the most Completed Gen when another one is done... Giving the Killer information and game delay
NOED's effect is strong and relies on Survivors either not finding it (ASAP) or Cleansing all Totems
Any other perk that's "meta"?

Look I think we spirit mains can complain about iron will ok?

Boring but sadly necessary to compete with other meta perks in the mmr hellhole
More necessary on killer

It's only meta for bad players.

I wouldn't call iron will a meta perk anymore. Not many people run it from what I've seen recently. I see more windows of opportunity that iron will.

You mean for the real skillful players...

So what's the adaptation with Iron Will? Just play the game with 4 senses?

I'm tired of seeing them/running them all the time. There's no reason the meta should stay the same for this long with this many perks in the game.

doesn’t matter. All the current meta perks could be nerfed and then a bunch of new meta perks would start busing hard and appear to be the new “meta”.
there will always be the select few perks that are considered meta no matter what.

NOED is not meta, Iron Will is good but it wont replace the current top tier set. I am slightly indifferent to dead hard but if they want to shut down all the infamy it has, they will have to to completely rework the perk because I cant see any functional way to nerf it.

A lot of them should be baseline. Yes noed minus the speed boost should be baseline, yes ds with a decreased stun should be baseline, corrupt intervention with less time should be baseline, borrowed time with a reduced duration should be baseline. None of these perks should be must haves. Perks should encourage specific playstyles they are currently a means to prop bad core gameplay mechanic's! I encourage behaviour to make alt game modes that "experiment with these ideas and take less pressure of builds to conform to the same crap. Jack up the power level of certain perks playstyles, make you choice cooldown halved, autodidact make all heals a mini game where you have to hit multiple skill checks and can stack up to 20 times with significantly smaller percentages. Stop being so frightened of rebalancing perks. If there a problem have a contingency ready. Dbd lacks spectacle. Its wow moments must conform to basic counterplay. If something feels unfair that fine in small doses as long as its contributing to improving the big payoffs for different playstyles. Invest in comeback mechanics for both sides.
There is so much dbd can do and its not for a lack of effort there just scared to push the envelope. Just make sure your big content drop buffs both sides "I know crazy idea right". As long as both sides are getting something exciting then you will significantly reduce players moaning.

They are mostly boring but I can live with them. Dead Hard I absolutley despise at this point. Everytime a survivor uses it I resent the survivor even though it's not there fault its a busted perk.

Well when it comes to the survivor side of things
The perk meta hasn't changed at all in 4 years. Can argue CoH has been added to the meta though. So the selection has been bumped from maybe 5 or 6 out of the 100+ perks for survivor, to 6 or 7.
With killer, the meta has at least changed a fair bit when it comes to perks, and different ones are meta for each killer so at least there is SOME variety. Not a lot at all, but some. However, you could definitely argue that the meta hasn't changed in about the same amount of time, because the go to has been gen defence perks of any sort.
As it stands, DBD is the only game I know of, that's still being worked on, that has had a meta for this long and it is so damn confusing at to why they've let it stay this way.

Sorry I meant Noed not Iron Will.

My personal experience strongly disagrees with you and would say they're much more necessary on survivor
"Oh wow, he's camping"
"Oh wow, he's tunneling"
These thoughts are much more prevalent while I play than "oh wow, I'm being genrushed"
Inb4 the "then you're not high MMR!" h

I’m just tired of seeing the same perks every other match. I go out of my way on survivor to run off-meta perks that aren’t used as often. Harder to do that on killer without losing because at least with survivor even if I’m not running full meta it doesn’t mean my teammates aren’t.

First off, how on earth are "all exhaustion perks selfish"? It's a survivor's objective to survive.
Secondly, please explain how DS is again, "selfish"? The reason survivors can't "work on gens, heal, cleanse, bless" etc is because they've probably been chased straight off an unhook by the killer. How can they do any of those things when they're injured and being chased by the killer? That just makes no sense whatsoever. 9/10 times that DS activates, it isn't because a survivor is being "selfish", it's because a killer is being sweaty and tunneling someone out of the game.

NOED: Should be reworked, it's not good by any means but it's still not healthy for the game.
Dead Hard: Very clearly too strong. Hope the devs change it in a way that makes it more fair.
Corrupt Intervention: Feels like a necessity on most killers.
Iron Will: It's alright. Still think it shouldn't get rid of breathing.
Decisive Strike: A necessary evil.
Borrowed Time: Same thing as Decisive Strike.
Circle of Healing: It still is very strong. I seriously think they should just change it completely.
No Way Out: Rewards you for getting multiple survivors. Well designed perk.
Deadlock: I feel like this perk is overrated.

Honestly that's valid, it's probably because I play a lot more killer so my mmr is naturally higher than on the survivor side :/
I'm sure that objectively they're practically necessary on both sides, just the op was asking for individual opinions and I am hot garbage at survivor lmfao
