Trickster
I know he is by far not a strong killer but for some reason I always struggle in chase against him. What is his counter-play? Especially with the ricochet blades...

Hes not a strong killer because all he really has going for him is his 1v1, he has no way to pressure Survivors across the map nor does he have a way to move around quickly
If The Trickster player is good theyre gonna get you downed relatively quickly, the best thing you can do is try delaying it by running around tall loops that he cant throw over

You are not alone.
Good tricksters can be annoying as f. If you get caught somewhere in the open you are screwed.

Loop tiles with high walls and make as much distance as possible. Trickster is slow so ShiftW hurts him tremendously

Trickster has no reasonable counterplay. even on high wall loops he will get one or two knifes on you each time eventually injuring you. He is god awful to play against.

Treat trickster as if he has a mini gun which is realistically his power, the longer you’re in line of sight the faster you’ll go down because the longer he holds M1 the faster he throws his knives , It’s similar to the mulcher weapon from gears of war if you’ve ever played that game lol..

When you hear that lullaby getting a bit more intense you need to go. It requires a lot of skill to hit them at a disctance so maintain a distance! Almost everyone ignores the lullaby which is great for the trickster since you get really close before needing your knives. He has that lullaby for a reason use it.
