Hello there.
I recently bought DbD game and all its dlc last month and so far i enjoying this game a lot. It's very lovely and excited game.
My favorite characters are Meg and Heather (Silent Hill), so far at least. I have not played or tried any killer yet but i will try them too.

Hello and welcome to the forums 🤗
enjoy your stay.
one word of advice: try to not focus on the negativity (in-game and also here in the forums). It’s an asymmetrical pvp game and thus bound to have a very toxic antagonizing community. But there are plenty of wonderful people/players that are able to see more than their own pov

Good luck and have fun in the fog!
If you ever wonder which killer or Survivor perks to unlock first, which killers are good to start with, etc. On Youtube there are few guides that can help you with that (I personaly recommend you content creator with name "Otzdarva" (Not Otzdarva YT channel). He has many good videos for begginers and even advanced players).

The biggest DBD youtuber is Otzdarva, his content is like 60% killers and 40% survivor. He has a lot of informative guides

Hello and welcome! I’m very glad to hear you’ve been enjoying it so far.
Hmm, since you haven’t played killer yet, I hope it’s okay if I can recommend Spirit. She’s my favorite and a lot of fun to play.

Good luck!
Don´t take the game too serious - you don´t need to get frustrated. Sometimes it is a really good game.

Hi. no worries about it, i never take any games serious at all. It's one of my biggest hobbies since 1988 to play games. I still remember my first game as well. :)

What was it? Time is around of C64 or?
My brother had an Atari 2600 and my first one was a C64 :-)

Welcome it's a pretty fun game and a decent community don't go on the reddit though

I'd recommend learning nurse as your first killer.

If you have ALL the DLC's, I'd recommend unlocking BBQ & Chili (it's a teachable from Leatherface), first.
That way, you'll get it early on your killers and it will help you get some extra BP (with some light tracking, to boot) while you're learning all the killers.

Have you been in aftergame chat?
It's a godawful community, but a great game.

I'm a console player

Hi. Actually Nintendo's first console NES came to my country in 1986, well we didn't found it out until later so in 1988 we bought it and of course Super Mario Bros 1. Since when we have bought and now we have a collection of over 400 games.

I have now subscribed to his Youtube channel. I will begin to watch his videos when i get home from my workday today. Thanks again. :D

Welcome, welcome! Always good to have another survivor in the Fog! :)
I hope the forums can offer you any advice you need. Trying out all the killers and survivors sound fun; Meg is a fantastic starting choice as well!

a couple of hints if you even want play killer:
1 prepare yourself to toxicity. Despite you'll probably already faced someone with toxic behavior as survivor (not only from the killer, even from your teammates), it's still nothing when you play as killer
2 ignore what people says about your gameplay and how you should play. you want to tunnel? do it. camp? do it. doing mixed hooks? do it. slug? do it. you have paid for this game and you decide how to play (people will always cry, no matter what).
3 killers won't work in the same manner: certain killers require to be used in a certain way to get the best outcome from their powers, so don't be demoralized if games won't be always entertaining/enjoyable, especially in the beginning
4 swf will be a pain to deal with, especially the ones who tryhard and bring map offerings/meta perks
said this, welcome to dbd

Don't be fooled by this person, they will suggest nothing but spirit, lol jk

My baby deserves love.

Yeah, but this is the chance to tell someone to play a killer that survivors find fun, and...sorta balanced? I feel like doc is in that category...has nothing to do with me maining doc, lol
0 -
But Spirit is balanced?
0 -
I guess now she is, but do survivors find her fun? I wouldn't know, not trying to say others find doc fun or shooting down spirit for you, just thinking of what survivors are thinking now
0 -
Some people do find Spirit fun though. I've seen many people say that.

Alright, just my take on the topic

Don't say you are old, you are younger than me 😅

I see. well, age is just a number anyway. :D

Welcome to dbd :D! A fresh experience in a game is always the most enjoyable part of it imo, have fun and good luck in your matches 🤗

Thank you. :) So far it has been amazing. Both scary moment, funny ones and at least one win. I main Chery (Heather) and Meg as main. Have not tried killers yet, but i will soon.

About trying killers, Trapper and Wraith would be two good ways to start (easy enough concepts). Nurse would be the worst (the most difficult to use, arguably the most powerful but with the lowest kill rate). For all the others, it's a matter of taste.

Welcome, hope you have a wonderful time 🙂
One bit of advice, don't take people seriously here, lot of people just taking the piss while they wait in between matches or at work where they can't play. Also lot of drama queens. How to tell them apart? No clue.

I'm happy for you and new players in having fun but at the same time you are the reason why devs don't care about fix the game, with buying all the dlcs you financially helped them, and so do new players, eventually you will start having frustrating games and will start to understand that it wasn't the best choice
Is not entirely your fault because you don't know the behind the scene, i blame the devs mainly
