They stopped working with them. Clive barker now owns the rights again. And the website where they made the NFTs don’t have the BHVR Pinhead model anymore.
It seems BHVR cut there ties with the company and there’s rumors that the Crypt TV skins will be discontinued.

Correction, he owns the rights to the first movie within the US only, Park Avenu still owns the international part for the first movie aswell as every other movie in the franchise.

Ok. But When Barker got the rights I think this let BHVR get Doug Bradley to do Pinheads voice. And if you go to the Boss protocol website they don’t have the BHVR Pinhead model anymore.

No official statement has been made, just assumptions after Boss Protocol started using different artwork for Pinhead NFTs.

It'd help if we got some kind of official statement on the matter. The NFT stuff was the reason I quit, after all.
Although I don't think I'll be coming back either way. Judging by the state of the forums, the game is in an awful place, and I don't think the devs are going to make it better.

I think Doug was going to voice Pinhead regardless of Clive or not, if anything he could simply just have been unavailable at the time which seems more likely to me.

#########unbalanced.But you can find fun and peace in not caring and not succumbing to the need of using meta perks (only low and medium mmr, in high mmr you basically play with dead hard + 3 perks to prevent slugging, tunneling or unsafe rescues)

To put it simply they went on twitter announced the NFT's got backlash blamed the fans while in the process of blaming the fans started blocking long time supporters of their channel and kinda started mocking the fans about hating NFT's they also made a video then showing their youtube revenue playing the victim and further mocking the fans for calling it a scam "who's the real scammer NFT's or Youtube" they earned 2k off a 2million view video.

Do you have sources that BHVR isn't working with NFT's anymore? Not that I don't believe you, I just like getting info from credible sources before I tell anyone about it. I am glad to hear that they've seemed to change their mind, but it shouldn't take a community backlash to make a company make the correct decisions.

Just don´t buy NFTs and they will die on its own. So i don´t care.
But i hear everyone talking about NFTs being the new sh1t for the metaverse - which is also sh1t.
But i fear i am just old - the new generation will grow up with this and will simply buy Nike, Puma, or Cola NFTs and Cars and Houses to show in the metaverse then.
It is like Patches and DLCs and Lootboxes - expensive stuff which were not possible times ago. But now everybody is just used to most game not working without a Day 1 Patch (total crap if you think about it).

it was always Boss Protocol that wanted to use the model created by BHVR (and BHVR being aware and okay with it - though many devs were not aware). In the end there haven’t been any NFTs using the model though.

On Boss protocol’s website where they talked about the NFTs there not using DBDs pinhead model it’s a completely different art.
Also you will be surprised what a community can do. If you played Last of us you probably know Troy Baker. Pretty much Troy announced he was going to do NFTs and he got hate and Troy said your just hating cause it’s popular NFTs are the future. But after all the negative feedback I’m not joking 3 days later he announced he’s not working with NFTs anymore and he said he was sorry

Yep they got bullied to death cause of the atrocious design. And now where getting a sequel in 2 weeks and they announced Sonic 3 is happening and a Knuckles Spin off show. All because they listened. This shows bullying can help
