Same, I don't care much about other ips. If it's not them then give us more original killers, they're usually way more interesting

Doesn't really fit in my opinion. If I had to make a guess though I think if it was a game, the next big thing would be The Evil Within. Not specifically for the license itself even though it's decently sized in the survival horror community, A big part is that it's Bethesda which is a big name and Shinji Mikami made the first game which he was the creator of Resident Evil, DBD's biggest yet worst license chapter because of their incompetence. If it was a movie, I have bets on Child's Play. Basically I just chose another big icon. I don't think characters like Candyman really fit that so I don't think he'll be it. If I had to choose as which side I think it'll go, I'm gonna bet it'll be a movie and not a game. At least I'm leaning towards that. We'll see though.

Well we just got the ring, what else do you think we would get?

Since it's the anniversary we can definitely rule out smaller ones. I guess smaller ones aren't impossible but highly unlikely. Like a Candyman or a Maniac Cop or whatever. Another thing I think it could be if it was a movie is The Conjuring or a Stephen King property. Now both of those don't necessarily have to be based on the movies I guess but I'm just gonna mention them as movie properties here. Some more games that I think could possibly work are the first but probably just a killer Outlast, Dead Space but probably just a killer, or Dead Rising which could go either survivor only or full on chapter with 1 killer, survivor, and a map.

One crazy thing that is definitely possible for 2 licenses specifically is sequel chapter because these 2 licenses still have a bunch they could show off and I'm sure they would if they were allowed to. The 2 licenses are sequels for Silent Hill's chapter or Resident Evil's chapter. People would say I'm crazy but I think with these 2 specifically, it's definitely possible.

######### man I want to ######### with the Chuck so bad. No wait not like that! I want him though. Whether it's remake or original doesn't matter. Maybe I would even lean towards a remake because you could do some unique mechanics with the tech but same goes for the voodoo magic. So many opportunities with Chucky.

Hardly doubt it whit the scott hawthon controversy

Would be cool. At the end of the day though I don't really care. Could be a homeless dude with a fork for all I care. I really wish we could just take a break from new content and just focus on game health as Dbd is really not in any position for expansions over bug fixes and optimization and such. Why make the grind even worse as well?

And to the people who are tired of seeing fnaf posts....just don't click the fnaf posts?

    I dunno.

on the one hand I want it because it would drive some people mad for the wrong reason and some would (finally) leave the game (though they have announced to leave the forums already and never did)

on the other hand there is the controversy about the creator and the fact i don’t care about the franchise at all while there are many potential franchises that I would love to see

How about a compromise: do FNAF, but make the killer that dumb random chicken instead of Springtrap. Then no one is happy.

Power Rangers with Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd as killers would be so much better than FNAF. It would also bring in players that are more mature and less annoying than FNAF fans.

I've been wanting FNAF in the game for a while now, but, after remember many of the types of fans in the fanbase.... maybe it shouldn't be BHVR's main option...

I still want it in the game of course 😏

I used to be against it but I honestly wouldn't mind, FNaF has some cool/creepy characters.

But on the other hand the fanbase can be very annoying and idk if it's trolling or pure delusion but many fans seem to think every little thing is a FNaF teaser.

Oh, and the decision for whatever the anniversary chapter will be was made a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away

    I want Junji Ito.

Not any of his characters or anything but the man himself.

No thanks. Not as long as Scott gets even the tiniest bit of money from it whatsoever, which he currently does because he still gets royalties.

You do realize there's already a bunch of children playing this game on all versions of DBD right? Plus a lot of the players in this game act like children when they loose or if something doesn't go there way in this game.

There's a difference between kids obtaining a license to a game they shouldn't be playing and advertising to a fanbase that is known to be mostly children (that are also unbelievably annoying).

Why Abby? She is normal girl with gun, she would not be interesting killer. If you are suggestting for survivors, we have better choices (Ellie and Joel)

At least Ghostface is horror icon, Abby is just boring. I loved TLoU 2 but she was not interesting villain for sure.

I haven't played any of The Last Of Us. I got to play the first ~45 minutes of the first one when I was beyond turnt so I just made fun of it the whole time. I find it hard to sit down and play single player games, so I've not really had any interest. It's also PlayStation only, and I don't own consoles.

There parents might say it's fine there's plenty of kids out there that play rated M games COD, Halo. GTA, etc. Kids lie about there age as well all the time and even though FNAF mainly has a kid fanbase it doesn't make a difference for kids lying about there age to play M rated games as it happens all the time.

Single player games can be fun, i love some of them. Dark Souls, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Assassin's Creed etc. I guess Sony will bring Last of Us for PC soon, they already started release exc games on PC too. So if they bring Last of Us, you should give chance. It was great game, both of games (1 and 2)

Absolutely none of those games you've listed are targeted towards children in any of their advertisement. Again, there is a difference between a game that has children playing it and advertising your game to children. This game is not child appropriate. And frankly, the way you're handling this conversation is exactly why people don't want FNAF in the game. There will be significantly more people doing exactly this.

The soulsborne franchise is like, psuedo single player. I did enjoy the random invasions, and having the ability to randomly invade. That's pretty lit.

What would the Mori be? Does Zed/Rita just stab you with the spear? Or do they like, summon some putty patrollers (variation based on who you are) to beat the ######### out of you mercilessly? Do they spawn one of the more violent monsters to do something to you?

A parent allowing their kid to play an M rated or R rated game is still their decision. One I don't agree with either, but that's still the child and the Parent. Not BHVR. If BHVR put FNAF in the game that is targeting children as their audience they want to bring to the game, and I won't support that.

Honestly what is even more concerning is how much you playing devils advocate.
