DBD New website is so badly optimised it’s laughable
what’s up with the new website?
whenever i try to go on it my cpu usage hits 100%, i get 3 fps, it takes a ridiculously long time to load and lags tremendously in the process.
im using chrome, have an i7-11th gen, rtx 3060 ti and 64gb of ram. I have never experienced lag on my pc once and can play just about every game on max flawlessly. how is a website so badly optimised? i know i’m not the only one with this issue either. has been talked about multiple times on discord by a number of people.
even on my phone it crashes and lags, i literally have an iphone 12 pro max. like cmon dude.

no crypto miner. Every other website in the history of ever has worked completely fine, dbd new website if the first website that’s ever even slightly lagged for me and the lag isn’t little either.

The new website is absolutely HORRIBLE when it comes to optimization. Then again, that's how you know it's BHVR's because the game is just as poorly optimized.

I was told there would be a bloodpoint code on the forums to use. I didn't find it but I yoinked it from someone else on the forums that was kind of enough to post it. I use noscript and it was fine but I only allowed the base forums. Probably just a lot of extra stuff going on.

Just checked it out because of this thread and it was super smooth for me. No lagging at all and it looks great!

I've always used Chrome, and I've never seen a website do this before.

It runs okay on firefox, haven't used it on chrome. It's crappy on iOS, especially when trying to click on a notification.

I'm on Chrome and it works fine? Some stuff takes a second to load in, but that's probably my internet more than anything else.
Might be something else going on for those who're having problems.
