So I saw another post today of someone being accused of cheating and since these story often are funny or just ridiculous I thought we all could share some storys.

So my favorite one that happened to me was being accused of cheating because I play Demogorgon. Yep they thought he is gone completely and no that wasn't some new guy it was a group of survs with all over 1k hours.

And another nice one was some guy demanding I was cheating because wraith can be invisible.

I remember people saying i had wallhacks cause i saw a crow fly up by the rock they were hiding behind

I was playing Demogorgon (Lmao) versus a group that really didn't understand who they were up against. They kept running and hiding behind box loops on macmillan and I caught them seeing sets of scratches that were clearly someone else besides the person I chased and just seeing them...

They told me they got me on video (A twitch SWF group) and they've reported me. Even asked where do they think I cheated and they said that it was too many times. Having eyes and ears is now wallhacks, everyone. Lol. Sweetest 4k of mine in a while.

Maybe not DBD but i killed someone in Hunt Showdown yesterday and instantly got accused of hacking etc and he told me his father is working for Sony and they will get me banned and bring me to jail etc.

The kill wasnt even special, that guy just played terrible.

I had a game, solo q against a Streaming Slinger. We killed it, in and out in 7 mins or so.

I stop in to see what they were all about, and he accused us of hacking. Said it was sus how fast gens went and how he didn't see anyone.

Ironically, he walked past me about 8 times, I just kept sneaking away.

I still have the game taped, I wanted to show him, but felt in would be in bad form.

A Laurie once accused me of hacking because I kept finding her "no matter how good she was hiding" (her words). She was running Object of Obsession and probably missed the part of the description saying we can see eachothers aura (this was also the old OoO). Guess she thought only she could see my aura.

Since she was obviously new and not very good at the game I thought it was kind of cute, but it's also a bit sad that some people immediatly resort to accuse people of hacking instead of ransacking their own gameplay. :/

Ok I'll bite because I always think back on this moment:

The era of DbD was about 2 patches after the Pigs release.

In this time, there was an extreme problem with killers able to hold survivors hostage by standing on the basement stairs, and I believe it was only a few months after Clown's release that this was finally addressed so that killers would lose their body blocking potential on those stairs after being there for x seconds, to prevent "hostage" situations.

I on the other hand wondered (at the time) what would happen if I used this mechanic to body block survivors with an RBT on their heads, while it was ticking down.

The result was crazy hard to accomplish, but also ridiculously malicious and rewarding...

At the start of the match/trial, I worked fast to both equip RBT's on multiple survivors and hook them in the basement, and because this team was super altruistic, Managed to get 3 in the basement with RBT's on their heads before2 gens popped. Then I hid myself near the basement, crouched to be in stealth mode, waited for the 4th survivor to come and rescue the others... and body blocked the stairs of the shack for almost about 2 minutes. The result was 3 survivors scrambling to the nearest boxes, trying to get their RBT's off, but ultimately dying to them, all the while I chased down and hooked the final survivor.

It was REALLY hard to accomplish this feat, but also insanely broken, and I both chuckled to myself while feeling an equal amount of shame because of how WRONG it was. Sigh, despite all this, it was still a "damn fun time" and due to its difficulty to pull off, I felt well earned. Broken as hell though, not gonna lie.

This is the only time I think I actually "Cheated" and was not simply being "Accused" of doing so. Other than that, I have a plethora of examples from survivors that simply don't understand the legal mechanics that the game provides via perks or powers, but insist that I couldn't of won without "cheating". For example: just run Mad Grit + Agitation, and if you have the ability to chat with survivor players post game, drink in their sweet salty tears as they rip into you for exploiting/hacking/cheating, etc. That never ceases to be funny.

Hunt is one of those games where every kill feels like its bullshit, whether you're dying or the killer.

The last survivor and his SWF reported me for "cheating" with huntress on RPD because he was bagging near the exit gate which in RPD has longer bounds than usual and when i got them with a hatchet, they weren't so happy about it lol

And told me i was also hacking before, because i hit some weird hatchets when in reality it was just the hitbox and ping being bad

And let's not forget you typical "doesn't know lightborn exists" hackusations those are always fun

I got accused of cheating a couple of years ago when you would sometimes get the infinite sprint burst bug after taking a hit you wouldn't lose the speed boost from being hit until you went to complete an action or let go of sprint, so I took a hit and zoomed all the way across the map and the killer DC and reported me but I mean it's not my fault BHVR broke the game is really all I could say back.

Saw an injured survivor way off in the distance as I went to hook the 3rd player. Didn't have BBQ. This survivor didn't have a medkit and I saw on the HUD that they healed up by the time I got to the area I last saw them. They couldn't possibly have Self-Cared or searched a chest+healed in time, so it had to be Inner Strength. I searched the nearest locker and found them. Hackusations followed post game. What even is game sense?

Got accused of cheating yesterday. Playing trickster, had 2 survivors alive. One was dying on hook, the other one clearly had no intention of helping. The not hooked one was injured, and hadn't had a medkit all game. No active boon either. I see her heal, and I'm like huh? so I go right to the basement, the chest is open of course. First locker I check, there she is lol

Don't know if this counts, but I'm a survivor main and I see cheating killers a lot. Obviously I'm too good at the game to naturally lose, so even though I don't know exactly what hacks they did if I lose I always make sure to report them.

Okay but actually I do think someone said I had speed hacks during endgame one time, in a game where I had Hope equipped.

I decided on an altruism-based build of empathy, botany knowledge, we'll make it and desperate measures. I would have my teammates patched up super-fast after unhooks, find teammates in need of heals and even take a hit to give teammates with less hook states time to escape to prevent the killer from getting a kill too early. Since I brought an emergency med-kit with gels and gauze I managed to patch myself quickly and numerous times. The killer would try (and fail at) continuing their chase and when they decided to go for me instead guess who patched themselves very quickly. My medkit eventually ran out but I still found a teammate thanks to empathy to keep myself patched up for plays. Eventually we get a 4E and the killer messages me claiming I used aura reveals and speed heal hacks. Nope... All legit. Every rpg player knows that you gotta take the cleric out first.

I got reported for cheating because I finished the last gen that was literally right next to the exit gate, saw the killer coming for me from the hook across the map with kindred, got the gate to one lit light, and then hoofed it over to the other gate and opened that one instead. I couldn't have possibly made it to the other exit gate "that quickly" without speed hacks, apparently?

This is me having to explain to someone how BBQ works and why I was able to literally see the last survivor from across the map

Haven't played for around 6 months, but about 2 years ago I've been accused of cheating which was funny.

Playing wraith with all seeing -blood- and swift hunt against a blendette squad.

They really played on stealth (or tried to), they brought 2 purple mist, a yellow mist, and map offering, and me as well brought a purple mist.

They were clueless what my add on did (was before it was used a lot) and thought i was hacking because I knew where they were every time when they tried to hide.

Even when they were dead they never bothered to read my add ons and just started bombarding me with messages that i was cheating.

There was 0 chance i could know exactly were they were because they were hiding and there were no scratch marks.

Such a fun time that was 🤣

Oh yes you need to get these pesky healers out :D not that I'm promoting tunneling but if I find that one guy that keeps those pesky boons up and running I have the urge to not let you near a totem again

The best kind of cheating accusations are the ones you don't even understand

I've played really badly as survivor and been accused of cheating multiple times.

2 people left on Ormond, downed the ttv Dwight at a jungle gym near shack and ran back across the map to the gen I chased him off of and found David injured on it. So I downed and hooked him. I didn't have BBQ so I just ran back to the jungle gym and combed my way towards shack and lo and behold I heard Dwight crying behind a rock next to shack. Because I didn't have Deerstalker and having ears is illegal I was clearly cheating and he had his friends report me for wallhacks....

I had a Hillbilly accuse me of cheating for wiggling off of him. He dropped me cause there was no hook nearby then later picked me back up and I wiggled off and got hatch.

I got accused of speed hacking and having built in quick and quite. The killer didn't know what a slow vault was, and also accused me of speed hacking because I was hugging the loops. Worst of all I'm on Xbox so there's no way I could cheat and he knew that becuz he looked up my account off his pc.
