If the next Chapter isn’t Fnaf then I don’t know what it is
Alright now I know a lot of people are agreeing and disagreeing that there might be a fnaf colab in the future of Dbd but can we not look at the clues that BHVR is giving us
I mean we got the newspapers, The newspaper Ironically titled “Help Wanted “ this HAS to be a coincidence of Fnaf coming to Dead by Daylight and if it’s not I don’t know what will happen for the future of Dbd

Why would DBD mobile, which doesn't even have the Ringu chapter and is considered a separate game, start tweeting hints for the main game 3 days after Ringu (a licensed chapter) release when they've never done teasers for the main game before?

Well a coincidence implies that it was accidental. I get the gist of what you’re trying convey though.
I mean BHVR can be very cryptic at times and then they can be very blunt. For Nemesis they straight up announced a Resident Evil chapter months in advance and then for Pyramid Head the anniversary logo was a big hint. Same goes for the third year anniversary.
So the chances of FNAF appearing are 50/50 in my eyes.

I think if we were to get a FNAF chapter then they should do things like that. Knowing how deep the lore is in FNAF games, they should know fans are accustomed to looking in unusual places to figure out pieces of the puzzle.
I wouldn't even be surprised if they did something where you had to adjust the brightness of certain images to figure it out — especially since that was the big thing to do on the scottgames website to find out teasers on the next game.

I mean some of the hints were really fitting both ends then. (I agree people need to stop finding everything as a connection) but the 1987 tv set and the fire with something in the background.(If your deep into fnaf lore both of those are pretty important) just sayin.

The only logical answer to that was that Fnaf was a (mostly) mobile game. Although it was available for PC as well, it was more popular and played through mobile.
Not saying I'm on board with them being "teasers" but if it is Fnaf, that would make sense honestly. Personally, I can't wait for when the main account starts teasing the anniversary, I love speculating new chapter possibilities.

I hope its something more universally loved I know a lot of you guys love fnaf I just have never heard of it i watched a video about it and the lore was super Inconsistent it would be a very pretty chapter aesthetic wise with the pizzeria and animatronics hopefully its something bigger than fnaf though

Just like @bm33 said, why would be tweets from the separate mobile game hint at anything for the main game? Both are made by different studios.
This just might mean, if we take those coincidences as hints, that the mobile game gets FNAF instead of ringu for it's next chapter and has nothing to do with normal DBD.

Like dbd doesn't already have the most comical things in the world? At its core, most classic slashers are pretty comical in their own right, you can't watch the old nightmare on elm streets without having atleast a little chuckle.
If survivors can get the most flamboyant and comical outfits every other month, then scooby doo is completely viable lmao. Also don't act like stranger things isn't preteen-teen drama with a mystery plot lmaoo

Survivors get those outfits because there's not supposed to be scary. With that mentality you're tryna turn dbd into a joke. Just because we have some silly outfits it doesn't mean you can add a kids cartoon in the game. If something is silly you don't add more silly you add less silly lol

Clearly, BHVR has the complete opposite feeling. Personally, I'm fine with it, it makes the game more fun while horror is still the core, it is like the people mad the game isn't a hide and seek game even though that isn't what it is anymore. It is a chase game with icons from all walks of the horror genre. Scooby doo is one of the most recognizable spooky mystery show out there. If you find it silly then sounds like a you problem, not for the devs who try to have fun with the characters lmaoo

It's not a me problem it's a fact. It's for children and it doesn't belong in a game like dbd. Bhvr literally said they don't wanna do silly so it's not a me problem. Point being, if scooby doo fits then fnaf fits way more lol therefore fnaf 100% has a way higher chance of being in the game less gooo

I was never arguing against fnaf, I was arguing on the side for scooby doo, which has also had media that was PG 13 (and even those live action movies were pushing that). DBD is not a spooky scary game anymore, there is nothing that doesn't fit anymore. They could add a teletubby with blood on them and it would fit.

If I remember correctly, shaggy was actually supposed to be the stoner stereotype and there were loads of actually stoner weed jokes and props but they wouldn't allow that so all of it was replaced with food. At the beginning, I believe they even have smoke coming out of their van but then it is just them cooking food and then they panic when they think a cop is knocking at their door.

To add to this, there's this darker more adult live-action series being made, under the same name as the best seasons of Scooby-Doo known to mankind (Mystery Incorporated) even though they aren't entirely related. The pilot episode is almost out, they have official permission from WB to use the names and trademarks, and then it'll go to a streaming platform (and they really wanna upload it all for free onto YouTube too).
So who knows that could be a chapter once the series has aired and/or while it's airing 💫
