What do you think the new Legion's add-ons will do?
I'll try to predict a few add-on effects that we might see with the Legion add-on changes!
So the first thing I'm 100% sure about is that they won't keep the reduction of Deep Wounds from Frank's Mix Tape and Stab Wounds Study, since that proved to be a pretty outdated mechanic and it would be foolish to just keep it, and also pretty garbage if I'm being honest.
One of the things that came into my mind right after I read the patch notes were movement speed add-ons, I'm not sure if they would be something like:
- The Legion's movement speed is increased by 10% while in Feral Frenzy.
Or if it would be more tied to the chaining hits movement speed bonus mechanic.
- The Legion's movement speed gain after hitting a Survivor in Frenzy is increased by 0.1m/s.
There could also be an add-on that would tinker with the 5th insta down mechanic. Maybe one of the add-ons would reduce it to 4 hits, but with a heavy drawback, like lowered movement speed or duration.
I'm also predicting a meme bloodpoints add-on, I really liked the add-on idea from Tatariu, that being iirc the Legion's power no longer replenishes on successful Frenzy hits.
But what do you predict? I'm curious what people can come up with and what would eventually turn out to be true!

They change the music, correct? That is really all I care about because I am quite sure none of them will magically make Legion playable. They should add one where it blasts crunkcore in the survivors ear phones so they cannot hear in-game audio.

As a Legion main, all I care about is the new chase music. If I have to lose, I'll do it with stylish look and music!
I've heard people speaking about a Hemorrage addon. But as long we keep the terror radius range addons, I'm good. They are the ones I prefer.

None of them will make Legion as strong as they currently can be right now with FMT SWS (Frank's Mix Tape and Stab Wounds Study), so it'll probably be an overall nerf to Legion.

Iridescent button is probably legions best addon other than the duration add-ons. But I don't see why it needs a nerf. It's the only addon in the game that makes your TR the whole map which makes it unique. Destroying pallets by vaulting is strong but you can't just down someone after you break the pallet. So why exactly do you think it needs to be nerfed?

By time they vault the pallet and end FF it's about the same time as just normally kicking the pallet.

Not everything needs an absolute counterplay. Plus, if you drop a pallet to a Legion during their Frenzy...

Against Survivors who know how to loop a 115 M1 Killer who has absolutely no strength in chase? Yes, it is.

His base movement speed in frenzy needs to be increased period, not only with an add-on. Other killer's with much more lethal power gain a lot more than 10% while also having add-ons that make them faster. I don't see why legion can't be faster at base.

Praying for an addon that lets you swing as many times as you want in Feral Frenzy again.

Increase loudness of survivor footsteps when they are in deep wound.

I just hope that they either are able to not have their power get eaten just from getting an m1 hit or that it can be used when the gauge is partially full. Maybe not both but at least one or the other...

i mean they want to do that. 0.2 m/s per frenzy Hit. And it Stacks. And with Addons that could be even better.

Also, i would Love an Addon that gives you Unlimited Duration but once you hit a Survivor you get normal duration.
Or One that erases your terror Radius in Frenzy and makes Killer Instict not linked to Terror Radius.

The problem is it's map dependent. Other addons are generally stronger because they make Legion more effective while they are in frenzy.
Also, even if Legion has no chase power, very good survivors can still be mindgamed. Plus, their mistakes are much more costly because the survivors will more than likely be injured. Dead Hard and CoH exist, but let's not talk about that!
Frank's and Stab Wounds have a place, but it's not something that you can bring every match and expect to do well.

I mean before you hit anyone, I dont see a reason for the speed gain to be so small baseline. Even with the 5% you're at most getting 145%, when killers like spirit move at ~ 170 out the gate with no fatigue.

That actually gets me thinking. What if they add a Killer Instinct addon for Legion prior to your first hit? Something like:
- When in Feral Frenzy, Survivors within [x] (maybe 16) meters of you have their location revealed to you via Killer Instinct.
- This effect is disabled after you land a Feral Slash.
To be fair, they gave it to Spirit, and she doesn't see blood pools or scratch marks in phase just like Legion. Maybe they'll do it for Legion. It's a lot less useful, but hey, why not? We're going by BHVR's design philosophy of "give the same thing to anyone who's similar".
