CoH nerf
Now that it is nerfed to the speed of self-care there isn’t any reason to equip this perk. It takes too long to find a totem, the killer can snuff it easily and it only covers a small area of the map. In solo Q, you’d be better off bringing self-care it is available everywhere and the killer can’t snuff. Teams don’t need it either since they can easily find teammates that will you up much faster.

Pretty sure it's still faster to heal with CoH than with Self-Care.
This nerf didn't solve the main issue with CoH which is that it can be placed INFINITELY. I'd rather see this nerf reverted and have a cooldown on how quickly you can place Boons.

I’m not going to waste my time placing boons so my teammates can maybe use it at the speed of self-care. Everyone would be better off just finding a teammate to heal them. This perk will hardly be used after the nerf. If you are healing by yourself it is the same as seal-care

Seems to be a misunderstanding what CoH does. If you self heal in the current version, your healing base speed is 50%. That base speed is increased by 75% at tier 3.
After the 5.7.0 update the base speed stays at 50% for self healing and the bonus added to it is 50% at tier 3.
Selfcare perk reduces healing speed by 50%.
So...
Selfcare: 50%
CoH 5.6.2: 87.5%
CoH 5.7.0: 75%

The problem is that such a move is a nerf to all boons, and CoH is the only actual strong one currently. So, you could do it, but you'd likely need to buff the other boons to compensate. I'm not sure something like dark theory is worth bringing at all if it gets permanently removed after one use or something.

You must not have heard that they are nerfing it to cap at 50% which what self-care is already.

It's already cap at 50% for self heal. The bonus is what's getting reduced.

I think people have made a much bigger deal about that than it is. When I play boons go up 2 to 3 times before they stop. It also wastes a lot of time to do that, so I would prefer people not boon after the nerf.

It saves an incredible amount of time to put CoH up.
It invalidates half of the Killer roster and if people can't see that it's fine, less people using CoH.

I'd rather they bumped it up to 100% bonus but removed the self-heal aspect entirely.
Full support. An 8 second heal ain't nothing to sneeze at.

I dont think the perk will be as dead as others that received the nerf hammer. Such as MoM. It's a single perk that the entire team can benefit from. It also encourages survivors to find totems. 1 less dull totem is 1 less chance for noed to pop.

It's faster than self care. Read the descriptions. Self Care is 50% "reduced" speed from normal healing. CoH is now 50% "bonus" to normal healing. Self care takes 32 seconds, CoH now takes 21 seconds.

It still applies a bonus to altruistic & medkit healing and is still faster than Self Care (as Nazzzak pointed out and Peanits confirmed in the other thread, it's now 21 seconds which is still 11 seconds faster than Self Care and all survivors get to use is throughout the large AoE.
So the devs did the easy nerf instead of an effective one.

Why are the devs just siding with killers on what to nerf. COH is fine the way it is. Decisive was also taken aways because of killers. Nerf a good portion of killer perks. Because I know for a fact ruin was nerfed hard. Then made op again. ######### DEVS.

Doesn't fix the main issue with the perk: unlimited self healing for the entire team at the cost of one perk. The nerf isn't enough, sorry but I'd rather they buff the healing to 200% and make it a one time boon OR buff it to 100% healing speed and remove the self care part of it, either of these options fix the main issue with the perk.

Of course it does. Ruin damage is more but you don't see it get nerfed. And undying also a problem. Traper keeper is a good example of this
