How popular would Jack Torrance be in Dead by Daylight
I really want Jack Torrance as a killer, however, I am unsure how popular he would be. I don't know the general demographic age of DbD players or if many people are even fans of The Shining. How do you think this chapter would do?

I like Jack but it wouldn't be a good fit for dbd. I think there is more iconic killers that should be added first.

I think Norman Bates would be unique if he also had the mother cosmetic with the skull face that's ######### siiiccckkkk 🤮

I think the issue is that he doesn't really have a power to incorporate into DBD. Granted, I haven't read the book (yet) and have only seen the movie once, years ago.

To us in older crowd, or horror aficionados, it would be awesome.
The map possibilities are immense as well.
But, considering the big push for FNAF, I believe the majority is of a younger generation.

I don't think Jack Torrance would really work, considering he's just a normal dude. There are so many other licenses/franchises that is more popular that would fit better. The Shining was a great movie, but it just wouldn't work in DBD.

I feel like when it comes to Stephen King, most people would prefer Pennywise, similar to how I would love Pennywise. When you compare IT to Jack Torrance there seems to be a very obvious better choice. So I feel like if we got a Stephen King chapter and it was Torrance most people would be disappointed.
