No meta perks ---> Tunnel
You want to switch your meta build and try some fun build? Nope. Get tunneled.
Usualy whenever Killer notice that you don't run full meta build and you even run some strange / unusual / not common perks = tunnel.
Can't play without DS these days, can't we?

Try to use ds at leats, I played today with ds, botany, self care and dead hard, if the killer decides to tunnel me, I have ds and self care if he leaves me

Honestly at this point playing with ds and borrowed time is necessary

I don't even pay attention to survivor perks, I just assume the worst.

Not really. I mean as a killer you hit the bully 4 mans and if you are not running full meta you get stomped. And it's so unbalanced it kills your enthusiasm for the game. Then you go run full meta killer and survivors whine about it in the post game. There is no winning.

Thing is the game has a full circle problem and would need to change both sides simultaneously devs like adding "bandaid fixes" sorry I mean perks to address the issues. OP is not wrong and neither are you.

Nope. You can't.
I am always putting DS & BT to my builds first. And then deciding other perks. Game is almost unplayable without BT & DS.

At this point yeah I have my 2 metas then 2 whatever fun perks

One-time use DS is too limited and easy to circumvent. It still needs a rework from the Survivor's perspective since the last few passes have provided comfort and accommodation to The Killer's perspective.

Yeah, this is what DBD has unfortunately become.

I run SC/BK/DH/WoO and have a pretty good win rate as solo.

Honestly, I don't run any meta besides DS. And I don't understand why everyone isn't running DS.
Nurse Blight Nurse Blight gen slowdown and tunnel. Few others here and there for flavor.
That is the current game. And solo q just slowly dies
