Dunno how, but I got exhausted on the ground deadhard-ing through an onryo hit. Thought this ######### was fixed?!

If the killer lunges later than you trigger your DH, the lunge may extend beyond it, meaning you go down anyway. Onryo especially has the ability to reliably enter the survivor’s collision, so she could easily ‘outlunge’ you.

She was manifested, so no walking through mem and I was mid animation when it happened

Oh yeah huh? Smh. For the last 2-3 months.

We don't count the 4 yrs exhausted on the ground. Anyways...

Yeah when they disabled the sound effects for validation they ruined pallet hits and dead hard again.

The same with pallets hits. You see the killer stun first and still get hit afterwards for no obvious reason.

DH bugging has never gone away, it's just that the exhaustion on the ground is much more rare.

It does seem like pallet stun and Dead Hard validation have been severely watered down. Probably in a bit to placate killers who are so accustomed to everything absolutely everything being handled on their end. That the idea of a authority other than their own system existing is unimaginable.

Fwiw, the validation is definitely still there. I have gotten fake screams on DH and pallets. It doesn’t happen nearly as often though and on the survivor side I have seen a few hits that looked like they shouldn’t have connected, but idk.

It means you used Dead Hard too early in comparison to their swing.
