What's the point of the Nurse?
Everyone DCs or suicide when Nurse is killer. I'm iridescent 3 and every game, someone just runs up to her, drops their item and follows her until she kills them. Is she this broken? I struggle juking her but I try to have fun with it. Does no body want to work to win anymore?

That says more about the quality of the survivors, imo.
Hell, the other night I had three teams do exactly the same thing (drop items, stop trying immediately) against the Onryo.
Some people don't want to play unless things are going to go exactly the way they want, and aren't the least bit interested in a challenge.

I like playing against good nurses. Yeah she can see overwhelming at times, especially with lower skilled teammates. But I like that she requires more interaction than most killers. if I going against a really good nurse and I outplay her, it's a really good feeling and shows my growth as a survivor.

Survivors know way to nerf killers.
Dc/Suicide against them. Boost kill rates. And BHVR will take them down as soon as possible. Worked for Freddy, Spirit and Pinhead.

Facing a nurse can be okay
Facing 5 of them in a row does become a chore, especially if you're not trying to be a slave to the meta - meaning you're not running the best possible perk combos against the killer who those combos are somewhat required. I say somewhat because it's not impossible but anytime I face a nurse without DH, it makes me wish I had DH if you see what I mean
It's not like most Nurse players handicap themselves by not bringing strong perks or addons, they typically bring the strongest stuff they can, aiming to end the match asap so - yeah

No, they don´t want to work for their win - and miss the rewarding feeling you can get from an earned victory. (Sometimes)
The forum is full of "no fun for me - i have to dc" comments. I don´t like to be hooked - i hate this killer - i hate RPD - bla bla bla.
I go down first - ragequit. What team? - don´t care if i ruin their fun.

I think it depends on what kind of Nurse it is.
I personally find an average Nurse fun to go against, but a good Nurse with good add ons slowdown perks and I give up immediately, they clearly just want an easy 4k, so I'll just give it to her and get to the next game, cause survivors aren't going to stand a chance or have any fun. She is the one killer that breaks everything DbD is. Pallets? Useless. Windows? Useless. Walls? She ignores those as well. There's nothing you can do against a good Nurse.
So I assume that's why most people just wanna die and go to the next game.

It's not because she's OP (she's very strong, but I don't see this much against Blight or Huntress).
Sadly, there are just a few killers that survivors hate playing against. Cenobite, Hag, Plague, Nurse and Doctor are the first ones that come to mind.

Cenobite is one that never made sense to me. He's fun to play against if the team knows what they are doing.

It's a mentality issue, not a Nurse issue. People need to stop quitting/DCing/suiciding just cause the match isn't how they want.

No, just that generic survivors are unbelievably bad.
Basically, most of swfs already don't know what they are doing, and of course 99% of solo qs don't know what they are doing.

Anytime I see a thread about someone complaining "I lost to <insert killer>. This is unfun and needs a nerf!". My first question is "Did you ever stop to think you just suck at the game?". That usually eliminates 9 out of 10 complaint threads. That's why Im glad bhvr hardly ever looks at this forum. Too many whiners who just want to win instead of actual game balance.

Playing nurse for a few games taught me she is easily manageable. I played her base-kit only, no addons with perks like Agitation/Iron Grasp/Deerstalker, and Pop. But she has restrictions on her power that make it very punishing to miss (locked vision and stun), not to mention LoS issues. Good plays I swear I just got lucky sometimes. Shes fine imo, though I hear her add-ons and some perks are tough?

If I see nurse I kill myself on hook. She's broken, she's boring. Not worth my time. I prefer any killer but not her. Better a camper bubba...

What I love about Nurse is that, survivors are all like "nerf NOED, it requires NO SKILL!!", and the Nurse comes along, and she's only lethal if the player has put a lot of hours in her to learn her (i.e. built up their skill). Then survivors are like "nerf Nurse, we cba learning how to juke her, we want a killer with no skill!"

Nurse also ignores FLOORS. She can be on the bottom floor of Midwich school, and just fly up straight above her to hit you on the 2nd floor, she completely breaks the need to use stairs on the map.
Again, I am blue in the face making posts over and over about how BHVR needs to focus on -FUN- for both sides in their designs. Nurse needs a total revamp, her design is toxic. So is Bubba. People say Bubba's camping is a problem, but the reason he can camp so well is because of his overpowered base kit.

It's a little bit funny survivors don't want to face tier S killers, but they refuse to change their meta build DS, DH, IW, UB that make them seem good players against weaker killers.

Yes then it will stop because no one will use nurse anymore. I’m not one to post about quitting, but I will 100% uninstall DBD if Nurse is nerfed again. She is the only fun killer.

As you've already probably noticed from the replies, we have a stubborn, immature, childish subset of people who think DCing or suiciding against nurse is the way to have her nerfed, as even though she has been reworked several times, they really don't want to have to deal with a killer so unique.

Most don't like going against Nurse because they don't know how to counter her. Other times it's simply because survivors just don't want to face her and just DC or sacrifice themselves. Just survivors being survivors, I guess.

BHVR has shown in the past that they will eventually cave on this sort of thing.
Is she broken or OP? No. Even a "god Nurse" (which you aren't running into in pubs) can be run for a bit.
You can't mask being bad when you're going against a good Nurse. The map generally can't save you. I think a lot of players find that frustrating. It takes a different kind of skill and map awareness to run a Nurse.
Most survivors have one or two super basic telegraphed jukes, and they're completely out of ideas after that. A huge part of that is BHVR's own fault. Nurse is completely unique and her chase skills don't translate. Players don't get good practice against her unless they do 1v1s.

You say that a nurse running good add-ons meta perks and is solid with her wants easy 4k's yet you suicide against her.
Have you considered that maybe the games balance pushes killers towards that?
You say that she isn't DBD and has no counterplay! Have you tried changing your play style like your suppose to in a pvp game?

Tough, survivors can bring survivor favoured maps, 4 toolboxes and rush the generators, or heal themselves up in seconds with god-kits and boons and the killer can't exactly kill themselves.
You need to learn how to play survivor.

Exactly. Honestly I believe that they need to come up with more unique killers instead of limiting them like they do currently. I'm not saying create Nurse 2.0 but at least something that is a bit of a step up from Onryo.

Personally I enjoy going up against a good Nurse. Makes the game feel scary and exciting like it did when I first learned how to play.

I don't know how anyone can think that. My typical matches against Nurse are like I load in, hear the screech. 15-20 seconds later a teammate is down, then my gen eats a pain resonance, maybe a DMS too, and I know it's over before I really even got a chance to play.

timing games have already crossed the line in the old hillbilly nerf at the time,
killer balance was not seriously considered for a long time because of people who said it was difficult to play as nurse

I personally enjoy going againts a nurse. She demands the entire team to coordinate like 'ok, she's chasing me. I'm going as far away as i can and you all do the gens' even as solo survivor i have participed in these kind of strategy. Like the comment said before, suiciding or insta give up is just you got unmature teammates, see you in the fog!

Because the part of this game I love the most, on both sides is strategy and mind games. Nurse forces me to switch up both and stay on my toes to have a chance, it's like facing a dark souls boss, without the predicability of attack patterns.

It's not really an excuse if you ask me.
Survivors send themselves to easy maps, people don't like it (rightly so)
The same applies to killers, especially the strongest killers in the game who funnily enough are the ones most likely to use map offerings too.

I like to play against spirit more than i do for the nurse, cause with spirit you can still both mind game each other to win a loop, meanwhile you can't really dodge a second blink or mid range blink from a good nurse since its so fast even latency couldn't keep up with the split second turns.
Playing against Nurse isn't really a good judge of skill cause it all falls down to latency and what add ons the nurse is using that day. if the nurse is using the broken add ons don't expect to win the match at all.

Funny, I've played Nurse the most these last few days.
I went against utter beginners (1 or 2 digits hours).
I went against relatively experienced players (about 1000 hours).
I went against veterans (several thousands of hours).
Tens of games over many days : some teams got spanked, some did resist very well, some gave me an hard time. I feel players are improving considerably with their Nurse jukes.
I had one DC, on death hook, close to the end of the game.
I don't know in what area you play nor if you are only matched with entitled brats, but no, not "everyone" is a crybaby and rage-quits.
Oh, and I love going against her. She is very interesting and fun to verse.
(Having read some of the replies, I'm puzzled at how many would openly display their lack of fortitude for all to see.)

These past weeks have been nurses into blights into nurses all running full meta combos. I'm tired of running full meta just to have a chance to counter them.
Believe it or not, bu I want to go back to my dumb builds like autodidact solidarity, aura readings and stuff, but it's just impossible when every other match is a nurse or blight in full meta
