That's just aesthetics, but I guess. And you can't blame BHVR for putting resources into the most popular characters, blame the player base (for all the good that will do).

They really need to chill out giving her cosmetics, especially in the rift. I forgot she hasn't had her own rift yet because of all the cosmetics and challenges she's already had in them.

Her sounds irritate me so much. I wanna punch her in the face and knock all her teeth out, and not only that but the worst kind of people play her (weebs/toxic aholes) I dodge all Fengs as both survivor and killer. *Squeak squeak squeak*! Like STFU already JFC! I wish BHVR gave her new sounds or something.

What about Jake though? He's by far got the most annoying injured sound, there's definitely a reason why iron will is his perk.

As a (somewhat) Feng main, I disapprove. She does get way too many cosmetics, though. I would like to see other survivors have a chance at getting cosmetics too. Zarina hasn't gotten any new cosmetics in forever. :(

Meg and Feng have stolen my heart as far as struggle sounds. I can't pick just one. Feng's squeaking is a true high point in the game for me. Claudette's bellow never fails to impart a smile and stranger thing's johnathon's wail of horror and anguish is more joy than should be experienced by a rational human being. Oh, wait...

They 100% are not functionally identical.
Go try to find a P3 Blendette and a default Ash and tell them they are functionally identical at stealth, what with one being a five foot nothing black woman in brown clothing covered in dark blood and the other being a 6'4 grinning pale idiot in a bright blue shirt.
Not to mention Survivors have different sounds and volumes of injury. Go listen to injured Meg versus injured Ace and tell me they are the same.

That's more form than function, but I'm not gonna argue semantics.
But seriously, that is the difference between Feng and Mikaela/Meg/Nea/Yui/Jill/Cheryl/etc., really? There's practically none, at least relative to the killers. With the killers, there are major, fundamental differences between almost all of them. But survivors? Even if you take aesthetics/model size/stealth potential into consideration (which I admit aren't totally negligible; I would much rather run Feng than a land whale like Jeff), they're so close to the same that calling one "overrated" just seems absurd, which was more of my point.
If someone doesn't like Feng. that's their opinion, but they should just say they don't like her for some subjective or aesthetic reason. Or maybe they don't like the sounds she makes. Or maybe they like another surv and hate that Feng gets so much love from the devs (which again, is totally dictated by the community).
Calling a surv overrated just seems silly to me. There's a reason you don't see tons of survivor tier lists like you do with killers; ranking them is splitting hairs.

Which you don't, unless you have a really liberal interpretation of the word tons. People will rank anything, but you don't see many of them.
Every single time a killer comes out, grips of killer tier lists come out. The same can not be said of survivors. What would you guess the killer tier list to survivor tier list ratio is? 20:1? 50:1? And most of those are taking into account the surv's perks, which are largely irrelevant for people who play a lot of DBD, since you'll have access to all of them anyway.
It's not compelling content because survs are all really, really, really similar. Variations in sound and aesthetics are the only differences.
