Remove Body Blocking
This ######### is so ######### annoying. It makes absolutly zero sence tha t a little midget can block a non human beeing that casually breaks pallets and wooden doors with zero effort. The Killer shpuld be able to push the survivor aside without even realising that a survivor is in his way. Why does the entity enhance there physical capabilities if there is no possibility to push survivors aside

No Bubba lover would complain about body blocking found the fake Bubba poser.

I never play Bubba xD I just thought the name is funny

Alot of things dont make sense in dbd
i think the whole argument "it makes logical sense" "this wouldn't be possible in real life" is dumb.

Yes and a fat chain smoking 50 year old clown can run faster than a teen athlete who is the best in her region. Realism isn’t a concern in this game

Bodyblocking isn't unfair

The entity buffs there physical capabilities and the Killers are Not Human anymore, it makes sense

Bodyblocking like that is an intended part of the game rewarded by base mechanics (protection hits) which also interact with various perks on both sides. It's not going anywhere.

body blocking allows a skillful playstyle in the game and is totally fine. as said it is a base mechanic and there are even perks benefiting from that on both sides or allowing to play around it (STBFL loves protection hits) removing that would only increase and facilitate tunneling which is the least I want in this game. play sadako if you want to dodge body blocking.

Yes and to make the trials more engaging the entity could allow for bodyblocking. Plus I’m pretty confident David could bodyblock a legion member for example. They feed off emotions and I’d imagine altruism gives strong emotion juice

Plague who can puke 10 times more volume then her body can hold, a nurse that can teleport, twins that can poop out multiple lil goblin to attack survivord... Yeah let's base the game on things that make sense....

Susie can break reinforced pallets down with 2 kicks and easily carry an obese mexican lady on her shoulders. I'm pretty sure she could swat David right off her way with a bitchslap.

Maybe but the point is the entity kinda just bends the rules as it wants. I mean survivors seemingly have an infinite amount of blood in their system and Never run out of breath. Oni is also able to be completely stunned by a piece of wood or a glass shard

is every one of your posts a pity party, woe is me, type thing? this is the like the third one iof yours 've scrolled passed in the last hour or so and theyre all just complaining about what you dont like as a killer. It's almost like youre... throwing a temper tantrum?

Getting mangled by a chainsaw can be healed by rubbing the persons back.

Yes it’s annoying. I’ve gone against some real pain in the @$$3$ but also makes it challenging. I mean killers can still camp so it kinda goes hand in hand with the whole “cheating aspect” I play killer mostly, you just gotta figure out a good way to slash em. There’s some perks that will teach them not to be rudely in the way while you carry a friend to their demise.

By that logic anyone who plays susies shouldnt be able to hook people who play david.

You can push survivors aside it's called hitting them.

Unrealistic or not, I don't think body blocking is going anywhere, although I suspect this may be more about your frustration with having to deal with the mechanic of it in the game. It can be very frustrating when you run into a practiced group that just mob you so that you can't make it to a hook, but sometimes you just have to keep your cool and roll with it.
The other great thing is that there's counterplay perks for those tactics, not limited to, but especially Mad Grit. That perk has singlehandedly won me games against groups that do that and don't expect it.
And as a final note, remember that you can body block as well; I can't tell you how many free hits I've gotten because a survivor made a mistake and ran somewhere where they literally can't get past me without taking a hit to turn collision off.

If you think Jane is fat you’re into stick bugs.

As a matter of fact, I am. Please don't kinkshame.

Killers have plenty of tools to deal with it depending on the context. Forced Penance is insanely good against body blocking teams that rely on CoH. Starstruck deletes hook blocking, as does Mad Grit. STBFL can make body blocking a risky proposition if you have a lot of stacks.
2 -
Yeah, the entity does the same to survivors. How do you think they endure a chainsaw without being split in 2? How do you think they get their lungs perforated by a rusty hook and yet still have the capacity to scream out loud?

Sadako mains: What is bodyblocking?

I love body blocking, usually I get a few free hits in on the survs and it helps highlight who the seasoned players are when I’m playing as killer.
Plus it makes for some hilarious survivor downs, I’ve been caught in a dead end before and the killer body blocked me, shook his head in disapproval and downed me, was hilarious

DBD can't really be put into a logical sense. If that were the case, survivors would instantly die if hit by Billy or Bubba's chainsaws. They would be permanently injured after being hooked. Pallets would just break when stunning killers.
Body blocking is a in game strategy and it can be countered in many ways. Try bringing Starstruck and/or Mad Grit or slug the carried survivor if the other survivors keep body blocking.

You. Have. A. Weapon.
Hit them. With the weapon.

I've always thought if you WILLINGLY are closer to the Killer for more than 2sec you become exposed and go down in 1 hit. That way Survivors can't do that stupid stand in the door way so you can't get through.

I disagree and feel like body blocking at a hook could be more consistant
0 -
still not possible to hook if they bodyblock correctly
0 -
Drop the survivor
Hit the blocker until they run or are down
Pick the survivor back up and hook them.
Or just run starstruck

I feel like bodyblocking isn't that much of a threat if you take advantage of it. Even spread out between all the survivors, you can only eat so many autos before the whole team is injured.
In scenario A, you drop your kill which always sucks, but you should be able to swap survs to hook if you can catch one before they run off.
Scenario B, they immediately scatter and later reunite elsewhere on the map to heal, so you can already expect to run into a hive of moaning and groaning newborns. From there you can just take your pick.
Alternatively... Starstruck + Iron Grip = never get bullied at hook again! ;D

There is so much wrong with this I can’t.

I think you really don't want collision to be removed as a killer. Survivors running through you at windows, fov tecs etc. You could literally stand inside the killer model and the killer would never be able to see you.

I'm always imagining a more REALISTIC and immersive take on the game so it makes sense for me. Nobody in the movies would willingly try to go up close to the Killer for the obvious result of instant death. Makes the experience very silly to be able to keep this true evil from getting through a doorway just by standing there... I mean.. Come on.. Has 0 to do with balance as well, in that it IS NOT balanced. It's just something that was left in and not addressed like most things in DBD. xD

Okay so what I'm hearing is you're basically salty for survivor trying to help each other as a team? And you're ignoring the amount of anti altruism perks to discourage this? Got it
