no the test finished at 11am today, we don't test into the weekend.
We're currently keeping the grades hidden for the weekend though.

I assume you're referring to the grades still being hidden?
Tbh they have probably done this because they're tired of people complaining they're going against people who arent their grade. (I'm only silver 2 why do I verse iri 1 etc. As an example)

Hiding the grades is a very good idea IMHO. It avoids confusion and/or frustration.

I must admit, I'm a fan of keeping them hidden...I do not know how many times I've had to say that Grades are not used for matchmaking purposes any longer.

give us cute pictures we can put in place of the grades like an ingame avatar or something since they kind of clash with the aesthetic imho :)

I could go either way on it.
On one hand, it's interesting - especially early in the month. If I'm still at Silver and I see a team of 4 Iri 1 survivors, for example.
On the other hand, yeah, confusing for some.

Maybe show the account level instead? Like we see players prestige icons and level in CoD.

Good idea so you can see how long players played the game for.

Just because it makes your job easier does not mean its a good idea to remove them. You are just being selfish with that statement.

BHVR needs to keep them shown so they can just say "Grades are not used for matchmaking purposes" instead of actually addressing the horrible game experience many players are having with BHVR's inadequate MMR system.

Honestly, something that represents both grade and MMR should be in its place. People already know what raises and lowers MMR. People also know there are players that intentionally lower their MMR. I think hiding the MMR rating at this point is just a bit stubborn. It'd be nice to know exactly where games start becoming more challenging or when script kids start popping up more frequently.
And I still say the anti cheat system should be able to detect abnormal actions and speeds based on its own calculations of top/lowest speeds of actions and movements with the perks, addons, and items brought in. But that's a whole different topic.

Not in the slightest...the amount of confused players who believe that Grades are still relevant to matchmaking is very high - it's far less confusing to have them hidden and is something that has been highly requested.

It's a good idea to remove them because doing so helps people who are confused. The selfish thing would be to keep in something that's confusing a lot of people just because you personally like it.

Grades hidden is much better. Being able to see your own is all that matters. Hope they stay hidden permanently.

I'd love to see the survivor portraits used instead of the generic survivor icon, that way it'd be easier to know who was who within the match.

I think it's a mixed bag; not showing them will reduce confusion and might make people a little less sweaty (I would guess that many people like having their grade shown simply because they love external validation and even though it doesn't mean much, it's still something to show off).
On the other hand, I would predict people would play a little less without that shiny emblem to shoot for. There are the points rewards, sure, but lets be honest - the BP reward for double iri I's are still not amazing. A lot of people want other to see those emblems.
And I am not really convinced the grade emblems mean nothing; it's not a tight 1:1 correlation, but playtime is generally correlated to skill. The more you do something, the better you will be at it, generally speaking. Following that thread a little bit, I would not be opposed to being able to see other's devotion level.

MMR still feels broken, The killer I am getting is baby killers and I run them for 5 gens...... what is happening?
I'm being serious all my killers are like 41 hours played some have 100. I am playing solo and they are getting totally wasted. My whole team is very skilled it seems and it's been like this since the 7th since the last MMR test.
Rip Just had another match newbie killer /sigh.

Let us customise the pictures I wanna have this photo everywhere

What is relevant to matchmaking then?
Because it all seems like a pile of hot garbage.
And if you hide grades then show us our mmr, how are we supposed to know if we're improving?

can you keep the grades hidden forever

I love that the grades are hidden! It was really tiring seeing the, "I'm an ash 4 being matched with red ranks, how is this fair matchmaking?" posts. If they stay hidden like this, it'll prevent any future confusion and maybe people will focus more on the game / match than the grades.
At first when the ranks were hidden during the last tests before sbmm went live, I didn't like it was hidden but this time around it's just been so nice. I could care less about someone's grades and just focus on the match and my mistakes without my inbox being harassed about my grade being relevant to my skill.

It's not always completely misleading, but it's heavily tied to day of the month.
If I start on day one, I'll usually be Iri 1 in 7-10 days.
If I'm still Silver IV and find myself against a full Iri 1 squad on day 3, something's probably gone terribly wrong.

Any possibility you could suggest to the team putting the account level there so you have an idea of how experienced your opponent is?

Yea, actually IMO you should have the photo of the survivor and the killer there. I definiitely hate seeing the grades. I usually run with the names turned off, so at the end of the match I never know who was who. Having the photos there instead of the grade levels would be awesome.

But how are you supposed to grade improvement?
Killing, surviving? How to find a measurement of success? What the devs tell us on Q & A 2 kills 2 alive and thats a "Win"
Doing 5 gens solo? Looping for 5 gens? unlocking 5 chests?
Whats the measurement?

What's the point of grinding to reach iridescent 1 then if you don't even get to show it off to your team mates and opponents?

They wont show us our mmr, because they dont want their feelings hurt when everyone knows how bad they are at their own game.
