DC or AFK killer

I have a kid around the year so i dont have as much "game time" as I used to. It often comes down to play a game or two while he's sleeping. 

The problem is that I never know when he's gonna wake up.

It often ends up with him waking up mid game, wich means I have to either DC or go AFK for the rest of the match. 

I dont like doing either cuz I know its frustrating for the other players. 

But what option is the lesser evil? Do you prefer farmin BP with an AFK killer or would you rather get on to the next game?

(I play killer 99% of the time so only asking from that perspective, feel free to ad opinions on if its a survivor that DC or go AFK if you want to.)

    First off, congratulations to your newborn or couple of year old child.

    For myself, my brother and his wife got their first baby 6 months ago. :)

    Second, i think i met a afk killer in one game. It's fine from my point of view that if killer is afk because i am new player to this game so i can get some easy exp. I started to play some weeks or one month ago now. Having fun time too. (I mostly play survivor, but shall try a killer soon.)

    I'm a dad too so ik how it is. I only play when I know he's out. Son is 3.5 now so he's been sleeping the night usually once he's out. I play at 10PM. On the off chance he wakes up, I'll let him try to go back to sleep by himself when I hear him on the monitor. If they are screaming, then you have to go. AFK at least doesn't give you a penalty. So, if your kid goes back to sleep within 5 minutes you can hop right into another match.


    Or you can play a different game with shorter game. Splatoon 2 has 3 minute matches, 5 minute Salmon Run/Ranked battles. Each match can be 10-15 minutes. If my son wakes up as I get into a match I see if my wife could grab him. But I stopped doing that since it wasn't fair if she's trying to sleep (she's also pregnant with our 3rd).

    Hi. yeah, i enjoying and love this game when i play it. I mostly main Meg and Heaher survivors.

    I shall try one killer soon.

    You know how long those queues are, cuh? Just afk, please. If they want out, don't worry, the gens will pop in 3 minutes flat if you decided to afk from the start. Rofl.

    AFK will salvage part of a ruined game.


    DCing is just gonna piss off people that feel like their wait time was stolen from them.
