BT during ECG
Am I supposed to roll out a red carpet and stand + salute a survivor that has BT cover when they are saved from the hook during EGC? Had a survivor hooked just inside the doorway of Lery's, I chased a survivor out to the exit gates in demon dash, landing a hit near the edge, which she managed to squirm over the line, meanwhile the hooked survivor who was macroflashing all game gets saved and runs straight at me whilst I still had my power..... I knew exactly what was coming ..... I landed a demon smash and yep, BT. Didn't camp or tunnel, yet there's no counter to that play. Survivor showed there class by continuing to macro flash at the edge of the exit, whilst I'm standing there thinking well, I'm in my power, but im powerLESS.
Nothing should be uncounterable. BT imo shouldn't cover those hit by a killer power especially if they're x distance away from the hook.

Honestly, I've always wanted BT to function off of a time and distance requirement (separate from TR).
Something like, "If the Killer is within X meters of the hook for X seconds, BT will be able to be applied to the unhooked Survivor."
That stops dumb plays like unhooking as soon as the Killers back is turned and still punishes people who are camping. You might make the counterargument that "Well, what if the Killer stands just outside that radius?" That's a great point, make the radius big enough that it gives the Survivors some time to run away before the Killer is on top of them.

Not quite.
The old version only activated on TR, meaning it unfairly punished Killers like Doctor but allowed Killers like Ghostface and Freddy to camp for free.
My version sees the distance requirement (regardless of TR) return, but also implements a time requirement, so that Survivors have to consider how long the Killer has been in the area or suffer the consequences of a poorly planned play.

EGC is no different than any other phase of the trial. It's supposed to ensure the end of the match, not to favor either side.
Your perks don't get disabled by egc, just like theirs. They get disabled when the conditions are met.
Play appropriately for the situation. You have an insta down, go for the unhooker.

The game doesn't care if you did/did not camp or tunnel - It's irrelevant to the perk's activation.

Ive turned a 0k into a 3-4k at EGC due to over altruism. Often involves people trying to body block when I have star struck or I manage to hook someone close to the end of the timer and Blood Warden activates. Always hilarious when that happens.

Killers would abuse it. They would wait out of range and then you can tunnel survivor, BT is not threat anymore.
Something needs to do about BT bodyblock but it should not kill perk itself.

Now lets consider this scenario: you've been hooked by a killer, its your first hook and noed spawns next to the hook. Shouldnt NOED deactivate then to make it more fair to the survivor? There is no chance to get rescued and escape after all.

The Survivor now has time to get somewhere, even if the Killer stands at 32.01 meters away.

It can be annoying, but you pretty much have to camp and trade during EGC to be safe. Over-extending opens the door for BT.

I would trade BT not activating after the fifth gen pop, for killer powers being disabled too close to a hooked survivor before the fifth gen pop. The killer has no more gens to patrol, so attempting to secure a final kill by camping is fair in that circumstance.

So basically something that almost exclusively benefits killers?
There aren't many killers that benefit from using their powers right next to the hook, you can guarantee a down with every killer hitting the unhooker as they come in to save and then hitting them as the save animation finishes, the only caveat to these are maybe Billy / Huntress & Bubba, every other killer will just M1.

I think the one issue with a distance requirement is that it would have to be abysmally large to cover all edge cases to the point where it might as well not have one. And by edge cases I’m mostly referring to huntress.

Why is it fair that I can litterally do nothing about it? They ran 15 yards straight at me instead of running to the other gate and having a fully healed survivor to atleast take a hit for her. I might aswell have taken out a deck chair and stuck up an exit this way sign. Camping, yes that's fine, but defending the exit gates 15 yards away from the hook 5+ seconds later, not fair imo.

I have said before that solo que is terrible because of my teammates but it’s been better honestly. Yeah way to many people complaining.
