New mode-VS Bots
So I know it's been discussed before, but I wanna get my 2 cents in.
I think VS bots with different difficulty settings as options would be a great idea to implement. The only thing the team would have to do is make the AI smarter and more complex.
To me, the VS Bots is an easy enough and appealing option for a more casual experience for either side. Maybe some buddies just wanna face some A.I. killers without dealing with potential toxic killers. Or maybe someone wants to practice killers they aren't good with or just practice being killer at all in a less stressful environment while avoiding the feared 4-man SWF.
It wouldn't change up the game any and the team wouldn't have to worry about game play balance as much as they would with brand new modes. Just the same maps and characters that are already here. Match-making is much faster too if you choose to do this as well. Killers literly don't wait at all since they're facing A.I. and survivors can choose to find random players or play with their friends, or just the A.I. themselves! Oh, and you can still earn Bloodpoints in this mode! I hate that fact you dont with custom games.
I have 2 ways to make VS Bots a little more appealing as well.
1.) Difficulties. I have 4 proposed difficulties to spice things up a bit, depending on what you or your friends feel like that night.
*Easy would make the A.I. slow to react to stuff. They still try to do their objective, but they're out in the open and easy to spot on either end. Easy A.I. survivors will fail skillchecks fairly frequently and will throw down pallets nearly immediately. Whilst Easy killers will lose the survivors easily or will not always immediately head over to noise notifications. Lastly, no A.I. players will have perks equipped on Easy.
*Normal will make the A.I. smarter than before, obviously. The survivors will hide in lockers and behind objects alot better and killers will be much more thorough with their searches. Not too terribly different than easy though. This time though, all A.I. will have their 3 teachable perks equipped every time. They may not utilized those abilities to their fullest, however.
*Hard A.I. will be when they're much smarter. Survivors will typically know how many times they can get away with loops before throwing down pallets and will know when to start hiding. Maybe not perfect optimal pathfinding but at least better than before. Killers will typically know their powers well and will know when to give up a chase and go check gens. The A.I. will have their 3 teachable perks+1 perk that makes sense for their character. Also, the A.I. start using items or add ons effectively starting on Hard difficulty
*Experts when to start pulling your hair, they even cheat a little bit. Every character will have one small benefit that makes sense for them. For example, the David A.I. will get one free hit as if he had borrowed time or mettle of man. The Wraith will always try to phase back in behind cover and will always have the one add on that delays his heartbeat, ect. Ect. And all perks are accessible to them at this point, they will always have at least one or their teachable equipped however.
2.) Character A.I. personalities. Along with difficulties, I'd like to implement slight personality quirks into the A.I. for each character, to make them come alive even more. Examples include;
*David A.I. will try to take a hit for his fellow survivor, unless there's an instant down ability at play like maybe a leatherface chugs his chainsaw. Difficulty will make the David A.I. smarter at deciding on when to be the hero. He will also T-bag with a successful pallet stun. As mentioned before, Expert Difficulty gives him a free hit per match.
*Claudette A.I. are purely defensive. She will hide efficiently and will always drop anything she's doing to heal or unhook her fellow survivors. Difficulty will decide how and when she calculates getting her fellow survivors patched up. On expert, she gets botany knowledge and self care effects without needing the perk equipped.
*Plague A.I. are efficient. She will infect many points of interest along her pathfinding and patrols to be sure survivors get sick. When chasing survivors, she will be sure she gets them fully sick before beating them down. She tries to get her red vomit ready before checking potential gens that had noise notifications. Her Expert A.I. makes her red vomit last much longer and she doesn't lose it when stunned, making survivors weigh the option of curing themselves even more.
*Nemesis A.I. are relentless. He always tries to infect you with the T-virus first, unless you're on death hook. The harder the difficulty, the more he notices the zombies and whether they see someone or not. His quirk makes him focus down any Jill or Chris survivors and will only bother with other survivors if they get in his way or they're dead/not even present. On Expert, his zombies are always at 50% extra speed and have the extra range on their cone of vision. And there's only 1 box of the Vaccine in any match.
...And that's what I think! I don't think this would happen anytime soon, or at all. But it'd be a nice little way to give players another option of play, even if it's still the same game mode. And honestly. Theyd probably have to release maps one at a time for this mode too so they can make sure the A.I. operates how they want them too. What do you all think? Have ideas for what the expert A.I. of your favorite character would do?

Absolutely agree with this post. I feel like it shouldn't just end with bloodpoint rewards but if it rewarded rift progression as well, not only would it draw in newer players for a more welcoming experience until they feel ready to leave the nest but it can act as a alternate way to play the game without the stress and competitive, toxic environment that follows with it! Its more incentive for people to play the game, maybe spend money on the rift pass (and cosmetics) and they can enjoy the game without as much frustration. Its a win win for the players and BHVR. Just wish they'd realize that.
