"Brutal Killer"
I just want your opinion.
Here you'll get 3 post-game results I had :
5 gens left;
1 gen left, they got the hatch;
4 gens left, they got the hatch.
And, these games I had in this order (and it's very common), I had "Brutal Killer", what's your opinion on this ? I know I shouldn't care about because I'm already rank 1, but hell, the day when these pipes would have an impact on MMR, Hillbillies will stay very low in the ladder. Does it make any sense to you ?

Did you look at your pips to see which category you were lacking in? I am assuming its chase. Insta down killers tend to suffer in that one as they end chases pretty quickly if they're playing properly.

It's always brutality and chase.
But for the most part yeah, Brutality with Hillbilly is always sooo low.

Yeah, that sucks he gets penalized there because he can one shot survivors, so you have less chases and less hit scores :/

I don't really pay attention to that to be honest, but since you're rank 1, isn't it always brutal killer, regardless of your performance?

I feel like downing a survivor that was healthy should give 2-3 times more points, and in chase, and in brutality.
A OHKO is uncommon, so it should reward the killer for that (imo).

Only time I ever cared about this was when I was finishing up the Adepts for some killers

Insta down killers are penalized in the chaser emblem.
There are also other considerations. Kills alone do not equal emblems. You need to perform certain tasks. Look in the tally screen what emblems you were lacking and take that into account in subsequent games if you care about pipping.

Yes sure, as I said I'm rank 1 currently so, anyway ! But I think about redoing the all the way to the rank 1 from ashes thing with Hillbilly, and sheesh, you'd have to perform perfectly to have Ruthless, or the almost impossible Merciless with him, if you want the cheeky +1M bloodpoints at the end of the month.
And no, as a Rank 1, you can do Merciless etc...

Yeah sure, I know kills don't equal to emblems, but it should largely contribute, you killed 3 survivors, your chaser emblem should at least be gold. I know how it works but the logic baffled me. I mean, you chase survivors to a point you were able to kill 3 of them.

Using logic to understand a system where you need to cooperate with your opponent to rank up will get you absolutely nowhere.

Yyyeah... You got a point.

I still find it funny that the Killer emblem system is "You lose if the Survivors do terrible"

if the survivors suck, you won't get enough chase points. happens every time
