Buffs are more exciting then new chapters
As the title says. I really feel like every new chapter becomes more underwhelming then the last. I remember bursting with excitement when the Jigsaw chapter was announced but when Sadako was announced...I felt barely excited despite her being a horror icon in her own right.
When the buff and add-on reworks for Legion and Ghostface were revealed, I was definitely excited for the first time in awhile. Both killers are awesome yet they're so weak that they can't be enjoyed but now they can be! If they made changes like this all the time and experimented more often, the game would at least be much less dull. Games like Overwatch and COD are always shaking up the meta and dbd needs to do the same.
I wish changing the game didn't feel like walking on egg shells 24/7. Instead of spending $8 every three months, I want buffs nerfs and changes to both survivors and killers to make the game more fun.

It's definitely a thing that changes depending on the player, me myself, I got into DBD when Myers got added and I'm in general a big horror guy so I always find their big license reveals to be the highlight of the Game refresh year, but other people got into this game because they liked the concept of the game in general or a friend recommended it, and they don't care for the licenses and prefer original chapters for the most part. The last time I got genuinely hyped for a chapter was when they started doing the teases for Pinhead, especially around the time the "HELL" spectrogram came out, I knew Ringu was coming before it even got announced because of the community I can't mention on here, but I was pretty underwhelmed but understood why they took it. Buffs are nice and exciting for the most part but I don't think they stand up against new content like Killers

I really like Sadako, she's a ton of fun. 🙂 She even has a couple of decent perks to boot!

Probably because s3eomg sadako as is was accepting this is all your getting and there will be no meaningful big changes. Because insert crappy spaghetti code excuse here or insert crappy hur dur capitalism skins new chapter no time to revisit and rebalance old favourites.
Actually improving old killers with new gameplay changes gives hope that new killers will get meaningful changes that goes beyond insignificant number changes. Twins, nemsis, sadako all felt like lost causes because up until recent news new features or actual meaningful changes will never happen.

Still, her release was underwhelming as she was announced almost 3 months in advance with zero real build up. I'm not saying she's a bad killer or anything, I think her aesthetics are some of the best in the game but I hardly felt excited for her release.

Yes, Overwatch is always shaking up the meta, it is not at all known for metas that last longer than a year and not getting any updates in 2 years. Not at all. I wish DBD were more like Overwatch, that would inject life into this game. Totally.

They should buff old perk , play with your food.

I Agree i love her
But she feels like she doesn't have a power most of the time. she is worse than legion. only thing making her stronger than pig is her teleport

If we continue to get Legion/Ghostface style buffs in the future, I'd leave the game. I don't like getting 1-2 QOL buffs and then Add-on buffs that turn the Killer even more Add-on dependant, and even then remaining a weak Killer

If it was expanded into perk changes and more killer changes then I wouldn't mind but sometimes the community crucifies the devs for even touching the meta perks

It's a competition of which is less exciting, not more exciting. Unless they feature a good killer or a buff to them, I could care less.
