Just me or more dcs?

Mostly as killer. I hit one survivor with a oni demon slamb and 2 survivors decided "im out". Went on myers and had a survivor kill themself on hook (no tombstone or perma tier 3). And as onryo i jumpscared a survivor so hard they vanished from existance. Im so confused. Anyone else experiencing this?

They probably had to leave the game to post on Twitter about how terrible this dying game is and how they only get nurses or a bubba face camping them every game.

The first DC ruins the game, I don’t blame anyone who quits after that.

Nope me too. Before it was only occaisonal, but now it seems like there's at least one almost every session.

Played maybe 6 games yesterday I think, 4 of them people just dc'd nonstop. They get downed first, they (presumably) dont like the Killer. Annoying to try and play, and can't blame the Killers for just trying to end the game. A PH was pretty chill and let me escape after we did all the gens and I was able to open the gate while he hooked the Yui

Just today I had someone ragequit in 4 of my 6 games. Usually on their first hook.

Is the disconnect penalty turned off or something?

I've seen an insane amount of DC lately. Even if you're on a weak killer, survivors will DC if they don't think it's an easy win or if they can't bully you.

penalty never did anything against people dcing. people been dcing as much since then every day all the time. people will leave from games they dont want to play.

If I'm getting clearly tunneled out of the game for no apparent reason, then I may be likely to just DC. This is especially true when none of your teammates seems to be making an effort to save you.

Wow, I guess I am not the only one then. Weird how it’s common now.

4 survivor games today, 3 games with (at least) one DC so far

    :D

    Ha haaaa....kill me

EDIT: Does Suicide on Hook count too? Because if so, 5 survivor games with 4 :D

Yeah there's been hella DC's even if it's my first down of the match. They're prolly going here to rant about the balance or the game dying

I had quite a few DCs today. I usually get that once a week.

The only difference is I was playing mostly Huntress instead of Nurse.

I get dcs all the time but it’s normal. I wouldn’t say I’ve had any more lately than usual.

Don´t you know that getting slammed by Oni is "not fun"?

If you don´t "have fun" you have to dc immediately as you paid for this game to "have fun".

Holiday weekend so probably increase in casual players. They don't care about DC penalty, if they're not having fun they'll just quit and go play something else.

The only thing that annoys me with DC as a Killer Main is it makes game unfair for the rest of the Survivors who are willing to play. I then can't play my game as it feels like a cheap win to me personally. I would suggest if your going to give up at least give up on Hook that way the game can continue as per normal. But yeah just a suggestion anyways.

Ohh, getting grabbed is absolutely "not fun" for sure.

had a dc earlier on midwich too. people realy dont like getting infected it seems

If I don't like the killer I'm playing against I just suicide on hook and got to a new match. No need to DC.

No, the same as always. So...too many.

I swear, the hardest thing about most adepts is finding a team who won't just cable pull the second you start going for Merciless.

Yeah, ditto. It's so damn annoying.

Yeah I've seen a lot of people DCing after death. It's like 'let me show you...by denying myself bloodpoints and giving myself a timeout!'.

This. Oh man, I hate it.

On survivor, it means we now get to lose slowly unless the killer is feeling charitable.

On killer, it means I either need to hold back (not fun) or wipe them out (not fun, and I feel bad).

I would love it if BHVR had bots to replace the missing person. At least when a killer DCs, the game just ends there.
