Any one else experiencing this today? I am finding every 2nd to 3rd game the Killer either is just afk all match, or plays a couple minutes and then goes afk?

Do you think this is related to the problem that people are not enjoying playing Killer or are trying to lower their MMR?

I had a basement Bubba who just hid his face after getting a pallet dropped in his face. He wouldn't come out.

I really don't know why you'd play Killer except to avoid Solo Q.

Oh what you mean having playing video games as your livelihood being the bar to play killer at an enjoyable level is unreasonable?

This is why I wish they would add a surrender button for killers my god it is absolutely boring getting a afk killer it's just do 5 gens leave

Very engaging gameplay while with a surrender button they could just end it instantly no harm no foul

A lot of times a Killer will do what they need to do to get their daily and then dip out.

I had a daily last week to get four Marked targets with Ghostface. The survivors absolutely made my life as miserable as humanly possible. The second I got my last Mark I went into the basement and faced the wall. Not worth it. They can teabag my AFK shell.

Basically, while people still love the concept of DbD, they just don't want to play it anymore in its current state.

That would just be a cheat for a killer to leave if with no penalty. Tbh if that was a thing I would totally abuse it lol because some surv can go to hell

Lol, I've done this. Like I always reach a point in DBD where I play enough killer that I get exhausted & something small makes me snap a bit & I end up just AFKing with my face in a corner and watching youtube on my second monitor until I'm free.

I understand killers who are idling to try to change their MMR. Matches at high MMR suck.

Killer doesn't feel rewarding unless you putting hours into blight and nurse. Its been what, 5 years of dead hard? Yea, + CoH completely trivializing healing time + map designs are still trash for most m1 killers. People get sick and tired of the same bs over and over again. Meanwhile survivor gameplay you can put music on and chill and still clap cheeks with not effort lmao.

Well some way to get out there would be fair since survs can just of themselves if they think it's not worth to play it out

I rarely see a fully AFK killer, like once every few weeks, or longer.

I mean, some of us are still enjoying playing killer. None of which includes those two. 🤷‍♂️

My rotation is usually Michael (my main), Twins, Leatherface (recently just started playing him) Sadako. I enjoy them quite a lot actually. I could never see myself playing Nurse or Blight.

Also, Id like to see you play in Killer high MMR as survivor with music on. You can do this when you go against bad players, the ones who know what they are doing will make you wish the music was turned off.

As long as the music is not loud enough to overtake the terror radius, makes pretty much no difference as survivor, and I play solo queue, SWF makes even less diff. And no, I'm not facing babys, I get matched with people with thousand of hours on both sides quite often.

As killer could be the difference between hearing someone behind a structure or not, or get blindend and try to hear the footsteps, hear gens, so many scenarios. You gotta use your ears as killer way way more than survivor.

I don't enjoy nurse and blight either, they give me motion sickness with their animations. What I meant by that is, you can put 9k hours on a bottom tier/mid tier killer, doesn't matter, any good team can wreck your ass if they want. If you put that effort on blight, nurse, spirit or one of the better killers, you can still keep up with the meta, so they feel more rewarding in a way.

They're enjoying the game a lot more than I am.

I've come to realize that when someone makes a thread, someone will make a polar opposite thread of the other side.

Thank MMR. Not everyone wants to always play sweaty all the time simply because they're good. But as long as the gens fly by then expect more AFKs.
