and it utterly breaks apart when any language that isnt english gets involved.

Funnily enough, it doesn't censor the word ######### or how I'll probably have to type it: s.h.i.t.
But, it's not like DBD is a game rated for adults and/or mature audiences. Can't have words be exposed to the children!
This is a kids game where you can't play an overweight clown who chops off a person's finger and sucks on it! And you definitely can't rip people's tongues and/or liver out. Hell, there's not even any nudity, so Artist, Spirit, Clown, and Yui to name a few, don't have fully textured nudity at all!

The whole censor system as a whole is childish. We have the option the turn the chat on or off, censoring is unnecessary.

The chat censor is completely random. It is maybe for trolling reasons from the devs.

It should not censors any word at all. It's a +18 video game and nobody complained about the original chat being censorless.

If your opponents had a bad match, you shouldn't be able to write GG. Kappa.

It falls over badly when it tries to censor phrases, start a phrase with "you blah blah" it wil block the blah blah, same with "blah blah yourself", not every time, but most of the time. The censor was obviously outsourced to the lowest bidder.
