General question to you all - what other games do you guys actively play besides dbd?

Many ppl have issues, anger or even some hate towards dbd. This is often getting projected towards other things in dbd that has nothing or little to do with the actual problems, for example the devs mainly. Not saying the devs are perfect and doing everything right but they do pretty good changes mostly overall which is often getting just looked passed or even ignored.

I have the feeling that most of these ppl that feel like that simply dont play or refuse to try out other games. Many of my friends ONLY play dbd, I was able to convince 2 friends to play 7 days with me after a long and excessive sellout of the game (Tried to convince them over 3 weeks to try it out). Now they love that game and we play it almost every day and we all 3 barely play dbd now.

I met alot of ppl personaly who just play dbd and never something else thats why I wanna see how it looks like on the forums, do you play any other games actively trying to blow off some steam and coming back to dbd after you feel rdy for it?

I personaly have a big variaty of other games I often play such as Hearthstone, Black ops 4 zombies and 7 days to die.

I only play DBD. I dabble with other games but most seem like a chore and I always end up coming back.

Maybe you should expand abit your search for games, many ppl tempt to stick with very similar games of the other "main game", it can be helpful but mostly its better to try out completly other games from that.

As a Legion main right now I just wait for the mid chapter so I play my fair share of different games. Generally I bounce between terraria, cyberpunk, binding of isacc and a bunch of other games because my true love wow isn't looking so good right now

I did enjoy XCom 2 but only after recreating all my soldiers as DBD characters.

    I might have a problem.

Actually SAME. But you know how it is, when dbd's boring ass meta gets too much, overwatch feels like a breath of fresh air, then I switch once I'm bored again lol.

Fallout New Vegas and Age of Empires 2 right now. Both games are great.

Subnautica and Hollow Knight are next on my list.

Dark Souls 2 is waiting for conquer by me again. Elden Ring was not hard as Dark Souls, it was easy challange sadly.

I really wanna play CK 3 but it kinda look scary for me. EU 4 is only game i played from Paradox. CK 3 is looks more complicated.

Team Fortress 2, a variety of strategy games of the Paradox flavor (CK2, CK3, EU4, HOI4, Stellaris, VIC2), Rimworld, CIV V/VI (say what you want about the "play civilization" incident, the man has good taste in games), a bit of Paladins and Tarkov, and a little bit of Overwatch when the mood strikes.

Mostly DBD, TF2 and whatever strategy game I'm into the most when asked. At the moment Stellaris. I could never "main" a single game, I'd burn out and go crazy real quick.

I play such a mix of things. I've restarted another playthrough of Subnautica in the last week, I play Phasmo with a friend on a Friday night, Slashers Keep is my current destress go-to, as I can just play 10 minutes of it or so (don't get a lot of free time). I'm also really fond of story based games and will happily replay The Walking Dead or Until Dawn.

I'm a huge fan of basically every game From Software (Dark Souls, Elden Ring) has made, aside from that I've gotten back into Black Ops 3 Zombies with some friends to finish all the easter eggs.

Left 4 Dead 2 for me. I did play Apex but I wanted to get more space on my pc since there seemed to be not so much. Turns out my screen recording software was on for 19 hours... Now I regret uninstalling such a good shooter...

I only need to complete Revelations' ending to get my RK5 starter weapon then I can complete BO4's ee's finally. I'm just gonna have to try to not get depressed at the Tag Cutscene as I still can't watch it without becoming sad

Since its release I've been playing a lot of Elden Ring (I just passed 400 hours and currently on the verge of finishing my RL1 run, I can say my soul has been stolen by the game).

I play some Hunt: Showdown as well, played a lot of it during the last event and some The Binding of Isaac from time to time.

I play a variety of games. Currently the games I'm playing are For Honor and Among Us with my SWF teammate, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands with my husband, and AC Valhalla solo. Hood outlaws & legends was made free on ps+ so will be checking that out with my swf teammate to see if that gets added into our rotation.

Right now I'm finally finishing up Horizon Forbidden West (fantastic game, about to 100% it)

I play wwe2k22 a lot too, enjoying the career mode, which I haven't in one of these games since HCTP.

Also Fall Guys. Simple game, but for a guy like me who loves shows like Wipeout, Takeshi's Castle and Most Extreme Elimination, it's like a playable version of those shows.

Lastly, Hitman 3, really the entire trilogy since all the maps were ported over to the newest version each time (which has been excellent, and ensures the older awesome maps get the gameplay improvements they made along the way) not as much as I used to play, but I expect that to change in the next month or so when Freelancer mode comes out.

These days, I mostly play DbD when I'm not working or spending time with the missus.

That said, I have also played:

The Riftbreaker - my GOTY for 2021. Open world survival/base builder/tower defense game, horribly underplayed.

Guardians of the Galaxy - astonishingly better than I expected.

Path of Exile - on par with DbD for 'frustrating game that I can't seem to shake'.

    Battletech/Mechwarrior 5 - yeah, I'm a huge Battletech nerd.

Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor - I'm an even bigger nerd for 40k.

Right now I’m playing a ton of Tainted Grail: Conquest, it’s like if Slay the Spire was a proof of concept game and then they implemented it into a full blown rpg. Really fantastic!

Other games I’ve played a lot are Path of Exile, Binding of Isaac, Arkham City, No Man’s Sky, Total Warhammer II, and for some reason American Trucker. 😄 (I don’t know why but just going on a road trip listening to the radio without actually being on a road trip is fun!)

I used to play Overwatch occasionally a few years ago and still do sometimes dabble with CSGO with a friend. But uh... DBD has kinda been my main game for 5, almost 6 years now, there is no other game like it.

It's a good game 🤷‍♂️ and I enjoy all the chaos that comes with it

My other main games that I play frequently besides DbD are Doom Eternal, Destiny 2, and then a jRPG. I'm currently working on the platinum trophy for Trails of Cold Steel 4. Once I'm done with that one, I'll have gotten the platinum in all four games of that series. It's one of my favorite jRPG series of all time.

While I have some issues with plenty of things in DbD, I still play and enjoy the game to an extent. I'm mostly addicted to the grind. I love grindy stuff in video games. That's why I like going for platinum trophies on PSN. I'm still working on getting all killers to P3 L50 with all perks.

The reason I know DBD is competitive at heart is I only stick around long for games that are competitive. Fighting games are my forte, but I haven't played a fighting game intensely for about 3 or more years now...

I am excited to see what happened with Multiversus, platform fighters are awesome of they are made right

Old good TF2. It's amazing & chill multiplayer game even the fact how old it is.

I played Overwatch some years ago but It made to start to feel bad when I was playing with toxic people. But in Team Fortress 2, the game atmosphere about one team of silly mercenaries going against another one neutralize any attempt to break your feeling no matter how the person can be toxic that versus you. It's a pure fun.

For single-player game, I explored a new modification to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. , called "Anomaly'. With some mods included to it, it makes the game more realistic and exciting to me.

I own at least 400 games since i began to start to play computer games (NES), that i bought back in 1988 with Super Mario Bros 1.

So instead of mention a few games, i wish i could show you guys and gals my games list that i own here. Not sure if that's fine.

In my living room i have two tv's one for retro consoles like NES, SNES, Master System and so on,

and then other tv with newer consoles like Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox.

Mostly Elden Ring as of recently, super fun.

Besides that, I mainly play the Devil May Cry series or other character action games, and some Apex every now and then.

Currently, I’m doing a solo Terraria master mode playthrough on the drunk seed. 100%’ing Kirby’s new game was substantially faster than expected, so I’m currently kinda in-between ‘side’ games right now.

I’ve been putting off finishing Lobotomy Corp., so that might be next. A Subnautica Below Zero got cut short when my pc overheated, so restarting that might be next as well, provided the save file was spared through steam’s cloud.

I don't really play anything else at the moment, I'll have a few games of FIFA on a Friday night but other than that, nothing, I have only played DBD two or three times in the last few weeks and that is only when my pal is online as well, otherwise I just can't be bothered.

I'm basically counting down the days for The Evil Dead to be released, that and I want a release date for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre

In the last year the only games I’ve played are DBD, Animal Crossing and Mario’s 3D world + Bowser’s Fury. So yeah, DBD and first party Nintendo games are all I really play. I’m not much of a gamer though, more of a film bro

My other main game is Overwatch. I have more hours on there than Dbd actually. Not too excited about the upcoming Ow2 though as I am a tank main and it will be 5v5 with only one tank per team. Hopefully they get the balancing right to make up for solo tanking. All I can say.

I also am a pretty huge resident evil fan. I've played nearly all the games and replay my favorites from time to time. Right now I'm replaying the hd REmake. Been a while since I've played 0 so I plan on doing that one again next.

Sometimes I like to play other smaller stuff. Things like 7 days to die, subnautica, Muse Dash, old pokemon games on my phone with emulators, etc. Used to be into clash royale, but the recent balancing choices pushed me away after playing the game for 4+ years. Basically they killed balloon and I'm a balloon player so ya ######### that. Anyways that's about it I guess as of right now.
