Iron Maiden is Meta. Discuss.
I mean, have you ever considered how unfair it is to Dwights and Claudettes? If they can't hide in lockers you have effectively eliminated their entire contribution to the team.
At least Claudettes can go hide in a corner or bush or a Nea can crouch walk all over the map but what about all the Dwight mains? They might as well go afk If you eliminate hiding in a locker as there's nothing else to do.
And, seriously, what's the counterplay to Iron Maiden? Not hiding in a locker? You ask too much my friend.
And what about when it's combined with BBQ and Chili? I mean the aura reading means you are only over 40 meters away. Maybe with the Exposed status Clown, for example, could run in your direction which would only give you a minimum of 10 seconds to hide and run somewhere else and a 75% chance of 20 seconds if you just randomly pick a cardinal direction and not run straight towards the killer. Plus any time you take to loop. That synergy is just so overwhelming. Besides, I prefer my killers to not move and just stare straight at a hook. It's more engaging gameplay.
And the sheer power of it? It's not like killers only have 4 perk slots and would have to choose between Iron Maiden and a couple of dozen other perks that could get you more value than Iron Maiden.
In short, Iron Maiden is totally OP. Please nerf it to the ground BHVR. The Dwights of the world thank you.

I've died so many times because Iron Maiden revealed my location. It's such a cruel perk, made for the Canadian killer.

If anything about lockers got changed I would say they should make survivors camera get changed to a 1st person view looking out of it so that the trade off of being concealed is a lesser viewpoint. As for Iron maiden its become one of my fav perks overtime and i hope it never gets changed

Iron Maiden is a great perk. I love getting 1 hit downed after I think I'm safe from the killer. We need more fun perks like this one!

Instigator? I'm offended. Besides, everyone knows Lightborn is OP. Who makes up 50% of the player-base? Fengs in cute outfits. What do Fengs have welded to their hands? Flashlights. That's why Fengs have to spend the entire match clicking their flashlights and twerking in front of the killer; it's physically impossible for them to do gens.
Besides, doing gens is for Jeffs and solo queues. Fengs and SWFs have got much better things to do.

Exactly, they stay calm in the south though and then return to their murderous ways in Northern Canada because, well, they're stuck in Northern Canada. Spend a winter here and you'll understand.

It's pretty funny to run Iron Maiden on Bubba. People that attempt to locker juke your chainsaws will be in for a rude surprise once they leap out.

Moving aside from my satirical comments for one post, and only one!, it's a funny meme perk as well if you see a Leon or a Jane in the lobby since they probably have Flashbang or Head On respectively. After doing the Head On challenges for Tome II (I think) a while back though I just can't bring myself to do that to a Jane anymore. Unlike the other exhaustion perks, which are only ineffective when you don't use them properly Head On will literally get you hooked.
Other than meming against low tier survivor perks it's really hard to find a situation where Iron Maiden isn't just a fun perk that's horribly outclassed by so many other perks.
If BHVR reads this, though, what I stated above in this post was just pure satire. The reality is Iron Maiden OP!!! Plz nerf!

I know this is a joke post, but I genuinely never see this perk. Not even on huntress, trickster or doctor even though they have synergy with it.

I stopped running Flashbang because I kept getting killers running Iron Maiden, haven't seen Iron Maiden since. Definitely OP perk, nerf it so I can safely run my Flashbang again. 😂

It's great for reloading Killers.
But the abuse it can get by survivors spamming lockers is just crap.
They need to introduce a cooldown on survs jumping in and out just to spam screams.
