Is it even possible to casually play this game
I feel like if im not 200 hours min. blight main im not supposed to play the game, survivors are either babies or 4k hours tryhards, no in-between. Im not intrested in 'otping' killers so im getting destroyed or end-up getting pallet slammed when I try out a m1 killer. No jokes around, im not a psycho intrested at grinding invisible mmr number means im not supposed to have fun anymore xD? games like lol or smgh are way less tilting

yes.
I recommend running a meme build or playing a <A tier killer for a while.
if you don't push yourself to 4k every game, you'll have more fun.
Also, try lore accurate builds, getting in character, challenging yourself, etc.
oh, and maybe turn of the end-game chat.

Apparently not, if you complain about the matchmaking setting you up to get stomped you just get a chorus of git good, there is no place in this game for someone that just wants to play a few hours a week and get a fair game.

Not really skill based matchmaking killed playing this game casually

Well like you said some survivors are babies and some try hards well agains't those babies you can play casually and agains't try hard you have to try hard yourself. But I also see lot of average survivors too and agains't them you can decide if you want to try hard or play casually.

yeah
just don't take it so seriously and aim to have fun. if you're a killer, be prepared to not 4k
if youre a survivor, be prepared to get tunneled. at the end of the day, the game is what you make it. If you're getting heated over how annoying survivors are or how many times you got looped as a killer, you're focusing too much on how it went wrong. If you focus on how much fun it was and what you did correctly, there ya go. You play casually

as a killer yes....as a survivor.....nope, and i tried 7 games today and they all ended in multiple dc's and stomping at 5 gens
did 2 killer games and had some fun, when they found out i wasn't gonna hook after the second hook they all just wanted to get chased so i gave them all a good chase and nice bp when they all escaped.

I like to play this game casually.
For me, I usually play survive with friends. It's all about enjoying my time with my friends! Maybe switch things up, play different characters, perk combinations, maps, etc.
As killer, I do experience some frustration when I am not doing well. For that, I try to play killers that I find FUN over my best kill-rate. That may be my style personally, as I like varied experiences and "thematic stories" if you will. Switching up the addons and perks and maps can also help for me personally. I have been having so much fun playing Onroyo because I love crawling out of TVs at people!

The only killers who need to be one tricked to get value are basically Hillbilly, Nurse, or Blight. Maybe Pinhead. Like, the rest of the roster should be playable as long as you good at any one given killer. I guess ranged killers kind of have their own curve and Spirit requires some Turtle Beach plus headset, but I wouldn't say you need to one trick any of them to get results. I am horrible at Spirit and can still crush average survivors. I am partially deaf too, by the way. Too much maximum volume metal as a youngin.
M1 are supposed to get disgraced by pallets. That is not your fault. It is just how the game is designed.

The game already has two modes one for ranked play and KYF where you and your friends can have all the casual fun you can dream of.

You can.
Just play and ignore the outcome.
Sometimes you will get nice matches.
The frustrating ones you have to ignore and stop trying to win. This is the hardest part. I try tp stop when i get way to good survs. These are the games where the frustration can skyrocket.

Is it even possible to casually play this game?
I mean... eh. Kinda sorta sometimes. Like everything else, it's RNG. If the players you're up against are also playing casually (or are unskilled), then yes. If they players you're going up against are really good and focused on winning, then no, not really, not unless they notice you're playing casually and adjust their playstyle to match.

I only play on Blight and Artist because they are interesting and strong killers. But I quickly came to the MMR cap on them and I often meet no-lifers which are hard to play against even on such killers. So just farm bloodpoints and don't worry about -3/4

My Survivor games have been fine. No longer is every game me just running the Killer 3+ gens before they give up chase or lose the game. Finally facing some Killers that can manage a good chase, and knows how to mind game. Sure a lot of my team seems to be made up of Survivors that don't know how to play and think their meta perks is going to carry them. May get a dc or suicide on hook here and there but I hold the survivor accountable for that, not the Killer or matchmaking.

Not if you want to play killer.
