Why is matchmaking so terrible today?

I am by no means a top tier player but I have had 3 games in a row against killers with 4000 hrs + tonight. How do you get better when the only killers you play are so much more advanced? And how the hell am I being matched with them in the first place?

    They enabled the new MMR system today, so that's probably why.

    One of the new "improvements" they have made to matchmaking is that super high skill killers can now play against people with even lower skill than before. Come on, don't tell me some 8k+ hour Nurse having a little variety is not more important than having balanced matches and for everyone else to have fun.
