I run Balanced, never used DH much because I dont even wanna be injured ;)
Plenty of us have played perkless (both sides)
Perkless survivor is the difficult mode.

yes definitely, sb and overcome (which i doubt still people would run) are strong but counterable especially with fearmonger. yes i would love variety even if it was strong but not dead hard ######### that perk.

I rarely ever use any exhaustion perks and I do just fine. The idea that any perk is "required to survive" as Survivor is completely absurd, and just seems like massive cope from bad players.

You can but it has the effect of being an extra life state, since without it you would be downed but you can press E and the killer is denied that down.
Loops would last far less time and pallets would need to be dropped and the loop rendered unsafe much faster without DH.

You obviously dont know how SB would be used. We will gonns see the same outcry as now with DH when those killer realize how much of a struggle a 99ed SB is.

Everyday i see that players playing mostly killers are crying about Dead Hard. But many times great killer players can outplay player with Dead Hard anyway. I do play killers mostly M1 killers, and i dont have problems playing against survivors with Dead Hard. And when i play survivors i use Dead Hard but often against great nurse players and blights it doesnt extend chase so much anyway as well as other killers can do outplay survivor with Dead Hard.
I was playing Ghostface few days ago against 3 survivors with sprint burst and one survivor with Balance Landing, That was so nasty game. Not telling when good survivor has 99 sprint burst or even get sprint burst back in mid chase ...

Dead Hard can only really be baited if the survivor is trying to use it to dodge an attack, which is the far inferior way of using it.
It cant be baited or outplayed when it is used to dash forwards towards a pallet/vault that the Survivor otherwise wouldn't have been able to reach, which is the main thing that makes it the most overpowered perk in the game.
Dead Hard could honestly have its invincibility removed and it would STILL be an ridiculously strong perk, as just having an on-demand dash allows you to extend every chase by 30+ seconds if you know what you are doing.

Yeah I don't, nor have I ever ran DH for a large period of time. I do just fine with sprint burst.

I'm trying to play DH right now, but I don't like it. I totally forget to activate it sometimes. And when I think about it, it doesn't help me that much. I prefer to use SB or BL.

if a survivor is good at loops them yes.
if is not good them they either get hit often or they just get carry by DH often.

i don't care dude that's at least a change of meta. dh has been meta for 6 years now there's no lobby without dead hard it's like survivors are unable to play without it Jesus. at least if a survivor manages his sb and can 99 it and use it properly in chase I'd have more respect for them than E to outplay losers.

There is a lot of survivors out there who couldn't, many survivors who aren't that good at the game and can only go 15 or so seconds on average without getting caught out by a mind game or making a mistake suddenly take 45 seconds to get downed instead of 30 because that one mistake they made got counteracted by DH and let them go another 15 until they made a mistake again. So the survivor team basically got a combined 135 seconds of generator time instead of only 90 seconds because you ran a perk and pressed e after getting caught out.
Not that there aren't plenty of good survivors who can win without it or with smart use of the other more conditional exhaustion perks to help in chase, but DH is pretty brainless. You make a mistake, you press E, mistake undone, killer now has to outplay you an additional time.

99ing a sprint burst, takes pre emptive planning and comes with a downside, that being you can't stop moving to repair a generator or you will lose your 99d sprint burst.
Then once your sprint burst is no longer 99d (and right at the start of the match) you have to decide between moving very slowly or having a sprint burst ready to go if you need it in a short time.
So you can play it safe with sprint burst and literally always have it when you need it, but doing so will inevitably result in losing time effeciency to time spent walking.
Of course you can tactically waste your sprint burst in moments where you believe you won't need it soon to strike a balance between time efficiency and safety, but then you are taking a risk. if the killer shows up after you have wasted your sprint burst then the risk you take by doing so doesn't pan out. Thus you have to actually think about managing your sprint burst.
Like if you want to have your sprint burst 99d when you finish your gen, you have to waste it at roughly the half way point, but what if the killer shows up during that last half of the gen? You must assess that risk and choose whether you're willing to take it for increased time efficiency you get by having a 99 sprint burst after the gen is done.
Where as dead hard is always active, it will always be there to save you. You dont think about it ahead of a time. You dont make plans around it. You just play the game and if something happens that makes it to where suddenly the chase isn't going your way, you press the e button and you're back neutral.

You don't even need overcome for that, the normal speed boost from a hit is enough to get you to safety.

You said the survivor getting a speed boost from overcome is the same as the one they get from getting hit. Why would I want to get that speed from getting hit, if I can not get hit and get the speed with a perk?

Yes, because a good DH will extend the chase by 30 seconds, which is 90 seconds worth of Gen time

Dead Hard is a free win according to some people on these forums. Which is kind of odd, since they also claim everyone uses dead hard. Maybe the new statistics will show survivors with 100% escape rate if all of this is true.

Every time I survive it's without dead hard because I never use that perk, I prefer sprint burst, Lithe , or balanced landing over dead hard any day of the week, I think sprint burst is stronger than dead hard when used correctly, I get way more distance and I can use it mid chase without being injured, after dead hard I think that will be the next perk to fill up the forums with "plz nerf" threads.

I run the **** out of killers with Lithe and Head On. Lithe for distance, or to dodge. Head On when killers try to catch me with their powers like Billy, Bubba, Nurse, and Blight. Whenever I use one the killer never expects the other. I burn a lot of killers time, and escaped chases because of this combo.
Dead Hard is the most reliable exhaustion because it’s the tap of a button. So killers must work more to prevent critical moments where DH can turn the tide of a match, which can be neigh impossible on vault/pallet filled maps. Like Lery’s, Pallet Town, and Haddonfield.
