What's the point?
So I just had a match where me and a few friends were playing on the new Haddonfield because we wanted to see what the map was like of course. So we do gens, destroy ruin and we've completed 4 gens and haven't heard or seen the killer once.
So naturally, we go looking and finally find the AFK Wraith. He hits me once but then doesn't bother chasing.
When we get to end, the killer starts ranting about how the match was so rough so I asked "did you even play". To which he responded how he responded above.
But like...... you turned the game on. You chose the killer you chose. You knew there's a higher spawn rate for Haddonfield with the new update (and the new map barely has pallets in good spots). You put yourself in this game. If you have an issue with the new map, don't play???? Like..... make it make sense

Not to me? But like, I haven't played on it with Killer yet and have only done like 3 survivor matches.
It's just kinda weird to adjust to because the layout is very different. Huntresses, Billy, and Blight will love it. It's very open

It has uncleansable Totems, so I’d say yes.

Idk why you’d bother queueing as killer and go afk on the new map. Seems obvious it would be played a lot today.

O well that happens with every new DBD map update. They'll fix that in like 3 months. The map itself though looks great, it's pretty small so killers shouldn't have too much issue getting from 1 side to the other like old Haddonfield, and the middle is VERY open which helps some killers more than others

At the very least it’s definitely better than the old one. Visuals are awesome.

There's a lot of pallets on the new map. If you pre-drop you can keep a killer occupied for a few minutes without taking a hit.
One thing that rustles my rotors though is in the corner of the map there is a big yellow building that you cannot go into and there's only a pallet spot at the front door. Don't these townsfolk know that if there's a killer on the loose to leave your house open just in case a survivor needs to jump out a window? Sheesh.

Lots of players have a sense of entitlement. There are good maps for killers and good maps for survivors. Imagine how boring it would be if survivors just gave up every time they got Midwitch. Its a real narcissistic attitude. . As those same players will say gg all around when they win because the game was in their favour.

Its heavily survivor sided and as killer main, its horrible to have to play it non stop
There are outrageous buildings and god windows, as m1 killer its just unplayable in the current state

A lot of players have a perpetual victim complex. Plus hidden MMR gives players the ultimate cop out on improvement. They're somehow max MMR while constantly losing games.

Im not and i manage to get 3-4k on this map but its not fun and pretty disgusting at some points
Thing is the big dead zone is a no go for survivors
Poorly poorly designed map, just delete it all together

For M1 killers, it seems so.
For high mobility killers it may be fine.
For Nurse, against good survivors you need addons to compensate the time lost trying to find someone.
(in my opinion of course)
edit: I kind of understand his discouragement. Gens flying and time wasted on loops, there are better ways to spend your time. Maybe next game he'll use an offering or play a killer that stands a chance.

That's what I'm saying! Like, anyone who queues up after a map update KNOWS what map they're going to get. You don't want the new map, play a different game for a week until the rotation goes back to normal

Well the new haddonfield is even killer sided so the wraith was not smart. I played 3 matches there as survivor with my friends and died and killer got basically 4K well some dc:t before they were put into dying hook. As killer I played 3 matches there as well and got 4K two times and 2K one time someone dc:t on hook and I let no mither david escape so could been 4K too. Well now I played another as survivor and made it out alive but had good swf team but killer still got 2K.
