If a pig totally loses the game and thus gets mad enough to slug and tbag that last survivor for 4 minutes / till he bleeds out (with a reverse bear trap) who didn't manage to escape even though said survivor didn't play cheeky in anyway and simply played the game without trying to be toxic - will the survivor get banned for disconnecting after being slugged for let's say 3.5 minutes or will the killer get banned for holding the game hostage and trolling? The survivor in question couldn't escape via the hatch as one of the other survivors decided to check for all the chests on the map.

    If you can die, it's not holding the game hostage. DCing, however, is bannable if you do it enough. In that specific scenario, I'd advise you to make yourself a sandwich and then report the Killer for griefing.

    Do whatever you want there are no console bans. They claim they will retroactively ban but we all know thats a pile of shyte. They just trying to hide their impotence. Have fun!

    I thought I saw more than one post (though not from a dev, mod, etc., admittedly) saying they will only count reports moving forward or something?

    It’s kind of weird how it’s (in place) all of a sudden after 2.5.

    Well that's unfortunate. I even crouched to the hook and the killer just kept nodding and tbagging for all those minutes like so I thought I'd just dc so I can get into another game more quickly. I don't mind getting sacrificed at all but it's not exactly nice to get forced to wait for 4 minutes.

    How are you not escaping? You're the last one alive as everyone else escaped.

    As far as I know a slugged survivor can crawl out the gate safely with an RBT on.

    When a survivor is bleeding out, then there is a timer and thus its not a hostage situation.
    And yes, if you DC enough then you will get banned eventually afte rpassing an absurldy high DC rate

    If I understood correctly, someone was still in the trial plundering chests, which was keeping the hatch closed.

    As for the gate, I'm pretty sure you're right on that, but even if you weren't, theoretically speaking, if you were just interested in the game ending, you could try crawl to the Exit Gate if you knew where it was and snap the trap.  If the Pig tries to pick you up and move you away, you can wiggle until they either out you down (in which you rinse and repeat) or you break free.

    The bear trap will still pop if you crawl out unless the pig downs you after the walls within the gate and uses the trap there. And the hatch was closed because one survivor decided to look for chests instead of leaving. He probably waited for me to die so he could use the hatch himself.

    The thing that confused me is why didn't you just go to the Exit Gate if you just wanted to die and move on?  Did you just not know where it was or something?

    No sadly can't crawl out unless you're drop beyond the kill line.

    Unless the pig is stupid af and drops you beyond the kill line the only way a slugged RBT survivor can escape is hatch.
