Trapper, Spirit, and hag make the most sense to me. Can't explain why fully, just their lore seems to fit to me somehow.

Im down either way man! I do pref a new killer. But im scared that it would be weak and people would be like "hes weak cause he is gay" and if he is strong people are gonna be like "he strong cause dbd panders to gay folks".

I mean Trapper was abused by his dad for being too artistic until he snapped and killed all the workers from his dad's abuse so honestly it'd make sense if he hid himself being gay too from his dad 🌝

Spirit having a horrifically abusive dad after losing his job, only to then have him find out that the Yamaoka bloodline won't even continue? Abuse continues and she works double jobs just to stay out of the house for as long as possible. Already established as something she did in lore, links to the underlying themes of the chapter since it's first release, etc. Spirit could be good if written well especially since she's one of the more sympathetic killers

I think revealing Charlotte of The Twins as Trans would be a good choice since conjoined twins are born with the same sex, additionally it could be a cute message to also show people that transgender people have always been around and aren't just some "recent trend" as many like to claim. :)

But yeah, we've got a lot of good options for LGBT killers, a lot of them have stories that'd line up reasonably well with that kind of lived experience.

Strictly speaking we already do with the inclusion of chatterer and Doctors CryptTV skin. But if we mean a dedicated base killer rather than a skin I'd imagine one will be coming fairly soon.

I think it's likely that the next LGBT character is a woman, 'balancing out' so to speak after the first being male. With that in mind, if they do go Killer, I think the Spirit idea someone had above is a pretty compelling one. They could easily expand her school-era story by having her bullying in kendo club be alongside such a narrative. I don't think they will go for a killer next though, probably another couple survivors first.
I think it's pretty likely that the next Survivor might be bi, just a hunch.

That seems abit of a reach but I guess anything is possible. There have been posts on this forum regarding people being harrassed/targetted for their pride charms (both killers and survivors) with people even posting proof and making threads on this very forum of people admitting they were doing it.
Killers have been harrassed for the charms on their hooks, (again someone posted it here and they claim to be LGBT so Idk) and survs have been harrassed for the charms on their side but I doubt people will play David to troll other gay people.
I have the rainbow charms on my hooks and have never had anyone say anything to me personally

I dont really need. Im not lgbtqa+. I how ever support my friends and acquaintances that are. They are excited by david king being gay, so im happy for them. And i want them to feel included and happy on both sides. Not just survivor side.

I mean thats a very narrow description of trappers lore, he was also betrayed by the workers he considered his friends and also realized he was becoming as ruthless as his father, he literally becomes as crazy as his dad and when he realizes archie killed his mom, thats when he snaps. He kills all miners in a horrible manner because he thinks of them as weak maggots and kills his dad out of spite of what he turned him into , Im all for more diversity and complex lore, but you do not understand trapper's lore, no offense.

The only part about his lore I remembered was the dad bit because I was in the middle of a break during his Tome and it's been a while since I read it ✨
