From a huntress main, how to counter her.

- If you forget everything else remember this: ALWAYS break line of sight in a chase
- If the huntress is winding a hatchet, DO NOT throw pallets near them as a slowdown. They can and will throw hatchets over it.
- When looping with windows, know when huntress is going to throw hatchets through windows.
- This one isn’t really important, but try to hide in dark corners, not lockers. Especially if you know huntress is out of hatchets.
- Don’t bother wiggling around when she’s chasing you in a straight line. Any half decent huntress knows this is a chance to just wind up a hatchet, keep it in the middle of your wiggle path, then get a free hit.

I'm still waiting for that counter to her homing latency hatchets that go around corners, rocks, trees, thin air...

None of these tips matter when dedicated servers made hatchets 6x bigger and capable of traveling through time. Shame too because she was one of the funnest killers to face in P2P games.

Low ping usually helps.

My ping waffles between 70 and 90ms.

If you never drop a pallet she will just catch up and hit you... It's a lose-lose situation at every pallet and there is no counterplay at all with windows she will just throw through them.

Mine averages between 50-1100.
I've seen some funny stuff happen in my time

Also,remember the kind of loops she can throw over and if you see one, just hold w right past it.
