BHVR are you Meme-ing on us?
I find it funny that with over 6 months of a decline of players on steam you think the best thing to do right now is piss off your community even more and re inforce Anti Aliasing on everyone. You took away ini editing, and now people whos eyes hurt from that blurry mess or simply cant get playable framerates are just not playing this game either. You are digging your own grave.
It makes it even worse when we consider the fact that YOU BHVR promised more graphic options in the menu (Including Anti Aliasing toggle) nearly 2 years ago in a live stream and we havent gotten anyshit.
Idk what is happening with your decision making. BHVR you are one of the most out of touch companies I ever came across in the history of my life.
My friendgroup and myself will not boot up DbD as long as AA is forced on us.
Also, can you finally give us something more than just new chapters with new killers and perks? We need some new gamemodes. Dont make rocket science out of this. Give us some crazy game modes to enjoy as time limited events, it doesnt mater how balanced it is as long as its fresh and fun. Its time limited after all. And if it becomes a sucess you can implement it into normal game rotation.

Clearly, taking the time to acknowledge an issue like this is very difficult. Paid for the game and wanna be able to play it without straining your eyes and getting headaches or anything, just wanting a basic feature that's god damn standard and expected? Clearly not worth the energy it would take to type up something as simple as 'we hear you' or what have you.
Keep in mind they decided to acknowledge Ghost Face's music still being awful, tho. That, they'll apparently bother with. Pick and choose, I guess.
Genuinely can't believe how little of a ######### they give, especially with the players they're already losing.

I mean yeah they answered to one of my comments almost instantaneously when i called them out on "trying not to sneak any changes in" when they have a rep for doing that.

Achually, the playerbase is seeing a slight increase over the previous months.
Average player count has increased by 3.5.

A single switch in the menu should take a team of 1 coding guy literally 1 hour to make.
If this was even on their radar, it could be updated same-day.

They have made a lot of promises they have never delivered on to be fair. I'm hoping evil dead is good and takes off to give dbd some proper competition and force the devs to provide us a good service.

Even though I wish so too, people said the same thing with hshs, vhs, propnite (this one is ridiculous imo). I'm not convinced a game will take the throne of dbd any time soon.

It doesn't have to 'take the crown', it just has to threaten to in order to make bhvr worry.
If they think they could potentially lose a lot more players due to this, they may have to take action.
All it takes is for it to be really good. All but Friday the 13th, to my knowledge, have been PC only. They have kept all their console players due to no proper competition there. Now a multiplatform asymmetrical game is out, they will lose far more... If it's good.
I am not counting Resident Evil as that was horribly balanced and never got any attempt to fix them, therefore they lost most their players fast.

Is AA the reason Haddonfield is so laggy? Or is that a Haddonfield thing? In particular, the bushes

I'm on console, actually. I just assumed the AA changes applied to everybody. This is the first patch I've seen horrendous performance on current gen xbox

I don't agree with defending BHVR on this one- general graphical settings should've been implemented LONG ago- but nobody thought to make a bug report on this? An official bug report within the bug reports section?

The only workaround is using Nvidia or SweetFX filters. Here's my Luma Sharpen settings @ 2560x1440.

The office may be closed but often times pr people still have access to their posting tools and accounts so I feel like their silence is more of a conscience choice in order to diffuse the situation a little bit before commenting. A heated discussion usually helps nobody

It's most likely not a bug but even if it's not it'll at least get a response out of them.

EDIT: someone beat me to it, but I'm surprised that they actually promised to improve graphics settings and then never did. Well, not really surprised.

I’m honestly starting to believe they don’t know how to add graphics options to the game. That would explain a lot!
