Just had a survivor complain that we didnt stick around to save them... with impossible odds

Lampkin, endgame. Deathslinger grabs someone with noed, we all flee because 2 of us got pushed out (me off hook, had no choice, made it cause of Hope FTW) and the other left because deathslinger was just camping.

Fucker (the hooked survivor) proceeded to berate us for not saving him. Told him "NOED's up, what you want us to do"

"Find it"

Do remember, only 1 person is left in the game, against a camping deathslinger

They proceeded to go on a long tirade about how they did 3 gens (They didnt, because I ######### did), how theres no team play (The rest of us made attempts to work together, she was barely seen through the whole match which is funny considering im a blendette), and that we were idiots for leaving them. I even pointed out that even if she had escaped somehow, she'd have had less points than the killer (the rest of us had made pretty much double what she had) and was asked what drugs I was taking lmao

I especially find their gen comment funny because I only really saw them twice that match, one at the start (mundane appearance) and then latter found them faceplanted into a blocked gen. I jumped on when it was unblocked, it had made it to 90%, and they managed to blow it up instantly

Some survivors are absolutely braindead i swear. Does nothing, then complains when everyone abandons them because they had no choicer.

Surprised ‘#########’ didn’t get censored. (But it did get censored for me?)

As for the guy… Eh. There are some truly bewildering people out there. That’s all I can really say.

They probably were upset cause they know it can be done. 1 person can find the NOED and still make safe unhook with BT and depending on the gate, both get out. It was your choice though. And I feel you on the "Didn't do anything" all match. I would've left too. 🤗

I agree, its common in Solo if someone gets hooked at the end even if there isnt a reasonable chance to get them out and nobody goes for a save at least 1 person is going to bring it up in the postgame chat even Killers (which I suspect are baiting people into giving them more hooks or kills).

The worst case I remember was one guy threatening to report another one because he was left on hook against Wraith while there was only 1 person left and he was injured (the other 2 were already dead), there was no reasoning, he was hellbent on arguing the other should have atempted a save which was obviusly impossible, Wraith is invisible, you are hurt, there is no way you dont get smacked before even reaching the hook.

Survivors are their own worst enemy.

I remember getting that message from a survivor. They were being camped by a Bubba in the basement.

Match is over they'll get over it once they queue for next game.

Clearly upset because they probably felt were close to victory only to be taken from them. I can understand, but not justify.

Nevertheless, often I would rather attempt an impossible rescue and die together (or maybe succeed or trade places) than simply leave and not try.

Life is too short and niceness too rare to be afraid to die in a game.

I'd probably leave too. Don't like to feed the killer more kills. Especially if it's solo queue and the odds of coordinating a clean save are slim. That's before we even factor in NOED.

If the killer has some game sense, they probably hooked near their NOED totem if possible. Then they could proxy the hook instead of hard camping and potentially snowball. Trying to save through NOED against a good killer is usually a disaster

I once saved a TTV from basement, he then proceeded to run into the killer and was downed (oblivious status) and said it was my fault because I didn't heal them in basement.... Against a trapper.

They were an idiot. Just give the killer their 1k and move on.

I vs a tunner Oni in Plague map with full auta build. I was the 1st found.

First chase I did well, because of Bond, I decided to run into dead zone to avoid friendly Gen. First chase ,3 Gens.

After that Yui unhooked and bodyblock me for 2nd and last hook.

Right after I died, 5 Gen done. Felix downed with Noed, but Yui and David managed to cleanse Noed and unhook with BT. 3 escape.

    Post chat:

    Me: congrats on 3 escape.

David: ure a noob. Doesnt know how to run and provoke killer.

David had his signature perk DH and Ironwill.

    I had Bond, Kindred, Aftercare.

I had 9k BP because I barely did Gen before getting chased into death. Teammates had 20-22k for Gen, unhooking in end game with Noed, then escape.
