Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

With this perk I can confidently lead killers across the whole map if I want too but I find myself struggling without it lol I’m not that good at looping and holding w does usually get me the win anyways

Only if you feel like another perk is better for you that can take its place. Use the perks you want to

Windows is good at all levels for one reason: you can identify which sections of the map are dead zones. Even if you're a pro if you're playing solo queue you're not gonna know where all the pallets got thrown. Alert and Any Means Necessary are also good for this if you've got a good memory.

Doesn't matter how good you are at looping if you didn't know shack pallet was thrown and the Killer has an insta-down

Ya and there are so many pallets hidden in some corner I’ve seen survivors go down with a pallet right by them and I’m like ouch lol that’s why I feel like it’s a necessary clutch perk

It’s a very good perk, but I do feel like it’s important to learn how to play effectively without it.

But even if you can play well without the perk it’s still very good for knowing the rng you got ahead of time at certain tiles and knowing which pallets other survivors used if you’re not in a swf, which makes it good even for experienced survivors.
