Stop giving Feng a cosmetic every other collection. Seriously, she has enough, in fact if she never got a cosmetic ever again I wouldn't even be mad.
Stop giving Meg cosmetics. She does not need anymore.

I’m okay with it. It’s clear that people gravitate to the same survivors and it’s not like all the survivors are wholly ignored. Even the newish Mikhaila has multiple really well designed skins. I loved Elodie’s skins from last year. These aren’t really the same ol same ol.

Adam, Elodie, and Jonah need some good cosmetics.
Jeff got a nice cosmetic in the rift. Glad it's not just jeans and a jacket (He needs a art outfit tho, nobody is gonna wear a leather jacket while painting)

That is not how it works.
Designing a cosmetic takes the same amount of time (roughly), so the pay for the designer is also the same, regardless of the cosmetic they create. So, if BHVR has the same costs, what would they create? A cosmetic for the hundreds of thousands of Feng-players or one for the three Adam-Mains in the world?

This is actually a Bug which should be fixed (at least for Feng):
- Fix an issue that caused the wrong lobby theme music to be played when the Little Red Gaming Fit outfit for Feng Min is equipped.

The only reason so many people play Feng in the first place is because of her insane amount of cosmetics. I am willing to bet money that if they gave survivors like Adam and Jeff cosmetics more frequently that more people would play them

It's a cycle.
They don't want to spend $5 developing a $10 skin for a character nobody uses. Nobody uses these characters because they have no skins.

Thats not how it works.
In any "game as a service"-game, be it DBD, lol or r6s they will always create skins according to the pick rate of characters and not the other way around.
Riot (league of legends devs, for everyone that doesn't know) have even officially said that if other characters get played more then and only then they would get more cosmetics.
Hence why popular female characters like ahri or lux are flooded with cosmetics (10+) and other old, old characters might still only have 1-3 because only dedicated players pick them.

They make cosmetics that sell. Feng alone is paying for 50% of BHVR employees and if anything, she needs more.
If you want cosmetics for others, maybe buy all existing skins on them and make more people play them and consume their skins. Its pretty simple money thing

its common sense that they give her so many cosmetics because YOU guys make her arguably the most popular. You buy them and only play her. I see this complaint everywhere, play more jeff then!! play more adam!! maybe they will get more cosmetics/love ❤️ And I hope they do.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Zarina got new cosmetics.
Her new head is the best yet, simple but beautiful. So i bought it. Other than that i´m still running around with the default outfit, however, because none of the available really click with me. Another set in the next premium rift would be awesome, or heck even just regular store outfit

I wish they'd chill out in the Feng, Meg, Claudette, Nea, Dwight, Jake, and David cosmetics and start giving more cosmetics to Zarina, Yui, Jane, Jeff, and Adam. Feng has received so many cosmetics in rifts that I thought she already had a rift tome. 😬

they should at least avoid giving new skins to survivors/killers that have already got one in the 3-4 previous collections and aim for some kind of rotation, unless the collection is themed in a way that just fits the character too well to ignore

One of the worst hair pieces ever created. Honestly her Neon Nights outfit is bad in general (save for the jacket because it can actually go well with some of her other cosmetics).

The problem exists with supply and demand - you see the same thing in massive games like League Of Legends.

Some of their champs that are unpopular, like Ryze, Zilean, Fiddlesticks haven't gotten a new skin in YEARS - even when the studio has seemingly endless supplies of talent and money. So what gives?
Hyper-low pick rate Champion in League like Skarner, Olaf, and Ivern don't see many (if any) new skins because, well, they are never truly played. If the developers spend the time and money making skins for them, they will see a very small bump in sales and a massive drop-off after release. Bad ROI.
Meanwhile, when they release YET ANOTHER skin for their super popular picks like Lux, Jinx, Ahri, Pyke, Vayne, etc. Those skins sell super well. The same cost and development time as the others, but in addition to their high initial sales - they will fall off slower, maximizing ROI as several thousands of players line up to purchase the new skin for their mains.

What's the difference between Feng and Meg?
You don't have to PAY for Meg, but Feng is DLC.
All DLC characters have a HARD cap to their usage, unlike FTP models like League where unlocking a champion is as easy as can be.
This means that the target demographic for certain survivors is LOCKED.
If there are, for the sake of a radical example, 500 Adam Francis players and 700,000 Feng players - you're going to want to make the cosmetic for Feng, because the market is much higher than Adam Francis players. It is potentially possible that the product will create a group of conversion consumers that will buy the Adam Francis DLC in order to pay for the cosmetic, but it isn't a way to go about business. You're looking for ROI, and unless you accidentally make the greatest skin in the game ever - it's not going to increase your potential market.
Lets look at Sales, right quick.
Elodie is a good character, but her chapter is quite unpopular. Yui is a great Survivor, but her pick rate is especially low. Jeff Johansson is a great guy and all, but you almost never see him in a match.
Meanwhile, the tope 3 most players survivors last year were Feng, Claudette, and Meg.
So, why would the developers work tirelessly and pour resources into cosmetics for Yui, Jeff, and Elodie - which many, many, many players do not even HAVE - when they could put the same amount of effort into making cosmetics for Claudette, Meg, and Feng? Two of which are available to ALL users.
I'm not disagreeing with you, because I feel that having good cosmetics may actually cause people to want to engage with the DLCs (After all, they aren't that expensive to begin with) and make matches a lot more interesting.
I really want BHVR to branch out and take community suggestions for cosmetics, because a lot of them are TOP NOTCH!
@Tsukah pointed this out. I'd pay real money for those cosmetics - so would my wife, for that matter!
However, it's always good to consider the machine that works behind the scenes to bring us that content. It has a logic of its own.
