Every killer perks best user [IMO]

I was bored so I wanted to find out what killer would use which perk the best. I didn't include Unnerving Presence and Overwhelming Presence because there is nothing about them that a specific killer would get more use than others.

If you're curious about a perk and why I chose a killer for it, don't be afraid to ask. And if there's something you don't agree with, tell me what you think :o

EDIT: I put Merciless Storm on Doctor and Forced Penance on Twins because there were some good arguments. I also put Knockout on Hag instead of Trapper because it makes more sense since you know when Trapper's territory is when someone gets trapped.

Merciless Storm should be in Doctor's tier

It's affected by his power and makes getting value of it much more likely

    Glad you agree!

You could also make the case Forced Penance is better on Twins than Hag

Victor being able to break survivors trying to bodyblock for their injured teammates is a big help and it also helps against stuff like COH which is one of their biggest counters

I'd also put Franklin's on Cenobite more than Hag.

I'd disagree, Franklins is actually not as effective on Cenobite imo.

If you down the survivor carrying the box you pick it up instantly and you get a down ontop of that

On Hag you can use it to disrupt her biggest counters (Medkits, Flashlights & Maps) and create traps for when survivors return for their items

Items are situational assuming every survivor is loaded to the teeth to take on a Hag (not to mention how rare she is to encounter).

I do see what you mean about Frank's on Ceno, but in my experience when a full health good looper takes the box I wish I could just one shot them for the drop. Risky move for survivors injured to solve the box with a potential teleport.

You make a good point, although I think medkits and flashlights are common enough that Franklins is a perk hag makes the most use out of when it comes down to it

The utility with Pinhead isn't bad - just in my opinion it's better to make a habit of downing the box carrier because you double your pressure - you have a down and a chain hunt which is an extremely tricky situation for survivors.

Maybe it's a playstyle thing, I'll go for the box carrier when I'm confident I can down them. I also run STBFL which works on the lament configuration pickup animation when you down (Since it technically counts as an M1 cooldown)

On a different note here, poor DeathSlinger has already been nerfed to the ground and all he gets here is Unrelenting. Guy can't catch a break 🤣

I'd put huntress' lullaby on doc, he's the only killer I'd use that on

Edit: glad someone else sees the value of dying light on plague, she makes the buff on the obsession pretty meaningless

I had a 50/50 between Blight and Nurse. Since all killers get value from survivors missing Skill Checks, I had to pick a killer that could both get hooks fast and get the generator in time while putting pressure on the survivors. So I picked Nurse.

Dying Light is literally my golden perk on Plague xd

That's a really good point as well! I actually thought about putting it on Twins. I honestly thought it only activated when you hit someone while carrying a survivor. So I thought it would be better on Hag because survivors might try to hinder her from getting a survivor onto her territory. So if they tried to body block, they would get broken, which is really dangerous against Hag.

But now that I know it works on all protection hits, it's probably way better on Twins.

    No clown :(

If not for nurse he could be the best DH user. He can interrupt cleanses and get m1 hits pretty easily. Not to mention the 5% movement stacks with both of his bottles for easy hits

Yea, if Nurse wasn't around. I would've probably put DH on Clown.

Why beast of prey on Myers? Losing the red stain is nice but chasing until you get bloodlust is not super ideal, especially since good Survivor's mightn't fall for it. Thanks for putting PWYF down for him though. Definitely one of his better perks and not often talked about it seems.

This video showcases it nicely if anyone is curious.

I decided to put it on Myers because when you actually start chasing, he is one of the killers that have to chaise survivors a bit longer. And losing red stain as a 1 hit killer can be deadly.

id put billy as lethal persuer and thats it

I disagree with Myers entirely, M&A benefits him the most of all the rooster (8 meter radius guarantees almost a free hit on any high wall gen which being a M1 with no mobility nor antiloop benefits him more than anyone else), Bamboozle benefits him more than anyone else thanks to increased vault speed on EW3 and while Leatherface gets a lot of use because his one hit down chainsaw Myers does too with EW3.

Beast of prey is useless on everyone and the only one who benefits for it is the Survivor you are chasing because you are playing with 3 perks.

Unnverving Pressence benefits Doctor more than anyone else because it does stack with his madness special skillchecks.

Monitor & Abuse should be on Myers.

Regarding Unnerving Presence and Overwhelming Presence, though, it is worth noting that they synergize with Distressing so probably show up most often in combination with that perk on Doctor.

Out of curiosity why Furtive Chase on Sadako?

  • Kira4Evr
    Kira4Evr Member Posts: 2,025

I'm glad you asked. As we all know, Furtive Chase reduces your Terror Radius by meter and not percentage. So killers with a smaller Terror Radius will have more usage from it. I didn't pick Trickster or Huntress because they have a Lullaby, Hag doesn't really chase, Spirit is really loud and Myers usually has a normal Terror Radius when he's chasing. Then it's only Sadako left. I also thought it was a good idea because she has trouble catching people, so I think it would benefit her if survivors around didn't know. She might even be able to get more hits to make her Hit'n Run playstyle more effective.

Honestly, I didn't quite think about that. I decided to put it on Legion because survivors will have less time to hide, and when you hit the first one, you'll have an 8 meter bigger Terror Radius to find other survivors.

You make a really good point with him being more sneaky, especially on indoor maps. But couldn't that kinda backfire if he's in tier 3 and chasing people? I mean the others will probably hide wouldn't they?

  • dugman
    dugman Member Posts: 9,713

Just FYI Sadako has a lullaby too. Also she's normally Undetectable when she's not in a chase so her terror radius at that point is zero.

  • Kira4Evr
    Kira4Evr Member Posts: 2,025

Doesn't she only have a Lullaby when she's Manifested(Undetectable)? And if she's not in a chase, Furtive Chase is not even active. It only reduces Terror Radius while chasing people. That's why it's so bad.

Also, what does "FYI" mean? xd

"I'm all ears" can be so powerfull on Nurse 😀

Myers works in a weird way, if you play him correctly everyone is always "exposed" either you are on EW3 and properly exposed or you surprise them with your minuscule TR, get one very fast free hit and then they are injured which technically works as exposed, the result is if you play sneaky and well enough most proper chases end after 1 hit (this is not always the case, certain maps are harder to get this done correctly, namely Autohaven maps are hell thanks to an abundance of low walls and his massive size), its unbeliably easy to get that 1 free first hit with an 8 meter radius, he moves at 4,6 m/s, people are literally less than 2 seconds away from your knife when they start hearing it and they dont even know where are you coming from, I believe only Wraith has it easier and maybe Ghostface.

The huge EW3 TR with M&A when you chase is actually great, because as you say, people will hear you and being exposed makes them play in a very defensive way but you are already chasing someone so it doesnt matter if they hide, you cant pressure 2 Survivors at once and if they hide they dont fix gens, this doesnt work that great against SWF but there are ways to deal with them (without tombstone pieces).

P.D. Im a Myers main, I must have around 800 hours on him.

I'd put Blood Echo in Legion's tier, I always run it on him. I think he's the best killer at getting injures, and then he benefits the most from survivor being exhausted, since he needs m1s to get downs for the most part. Sure he has his 5th hit down now, but you're not always able to pull that off.

Also, could you put a link to the tiermaker for this? I'd kinda like to throw together my own.

  • dugman
    dugman Member Posts: 9,713

No, she always has a lullaby even when she's Undetectable. (I don't know why they gave her a lullaby in the first place but that's how it works.)

Also FYI is shorthand for "For Your Info".

I wonder if a case could be made for Hex: No One Escapes Death on Deathslinger rather than Hag. Like Hag, he's an m1 killer and the speed boost mitigates their lower movement speed, unlike Hag, however, Deathslinger is more chase oriented, lacks other mobility options, and the only ranged killer who primarily uses m1s.

Discordance could also be valuable on either the Twins or Nemesis, as they can make unique use of the more obscure part of the perk, the Noise Notifications. Victor can see them and the zombies will react to them.

Unnerving Presence sees the best use on the Doctor, and many an Impossible Skill Check build can attest.
