its so adorable when a body blocking sabo squad complains about camping
just had a beautiful game i thought i was gonna get rolled on by a bb hook swarm team. i usually dont do well against these teams.
I was playing bubba and it took a while to get a hook cuz of the non stop sabos and bb but when i did 2-3 of them would constantly be in hook proxy. Obviously with an active save attempt being done im not going to leave the hook. They kept swarming in or trying to bait me out but im not stupid. Its very easy to tell when a survivor is trying to screen for another play. So no im not going to pay attention to your tbag and beckon gesture. im going to punish you for not working gens and running around the hook. this happened on FOUR different hooks.
They wouldnt leave so i just kept on by the hook. Every time i would start to move away i would see someone try and swoop in and now im sitting with literally 3 survs off objective and pressured. eventually the 4k comes which is SUPER satisfying agaisnt these kinds of teams and the EGC was filled with delicious salt about how im a camping bubba.
Guys, if you are a bb and hook swarming you have absolutely no position to complain about camping. YOU made the bad plays over and over. Im not going to go make a bad play myself just because you cant figure out your strategy isnt working. and through my time with bubba(just got him yesterday) I have learned that just because your bubba you constantly get accused of camping. Apparently bubba isnt allowed to get anywhere near the hook.
heres an idea, give me a chance to leave the hook OR dont literally unhook 10 feet from me or your getting chainsawed.
I am always going to do my best to make the best plays i can. And if that means i dont stray to the other side of the map or i make Timed returns to the hooks to make i am gonna do it. just like survs arent gonna stop using the perks and stuff killers dont like.

What do you mean? The survivors were clearly entitled to that unhook because you are bad.
All jokes aside. It is hilarious when survivors moan all day about camping to the point they think you aren't allowed to do it even when every single person is there lol.

Wow yes please. This happened to me three games in a row. It's just... so awful to play against. The third game I just stepped in my own traps constantly as trapper going back and forward. I wouldn't play their game anymore. Certainly not on Gideon's Crate Warehouse. Don't get me wrong, I know I'm bad at the game, I'm still learning it, but I just want everyone to have fun and seeing this happen so many times?
This stuff is the worst. The fact that some hooks are outright impossible to make and/or the survivors only need to sabotage one to 100% stop you hooking someone is a massive design flaw. I think the thing that's sad is I can think of several ways to grief/bully the killer that haven't been addressed by exploiting similar design flaws.
I should point out that I believe sabotage is fine. If I commit to a hook and aren't careful and it gets sabotaged and I lose the survivor fair enough, but when people make it their mission to make hooking impossible? Just... ugh... The fact that such a thing is easily doable is disgusting.

I'm part of these who thinks he should have his power turned off near hooks. Why are you against it? Any killer is in a good spot if at least 1 survivor tries to go for the unhook instead of slamming generators when camping.

Doing gens being the only counter play disappoints me, it's not fun, nor interactive.
And as I said, with only the M1, you're still in a good spot if survivors come to rescue when the killer camps. The M1 isn't enough to guarantee a trade when survivors come at least at 2, but that's still 2 survivors not doing a generator which is good for the killer, nah?
If you think: "But the game is unbalanced in favor to survivors! I have to camp if I want to win", that's true for the highest level but there's camping at every level, even when the killer is stronger to survivors. Do you think camping is balanced? If it makes you win some games you should have lost, it's a proof it is not balanced.

Twins and Artist can't use their power when too close to hooked survivors, why not just adding at least bubba to the list?

The realistic fact is this game is a toxic arms race if you let it be. Hence why the only answer to bubba camping is 'do gens'. Not fun but a natural conclusion. It's simply not worth playing 'for real' or 'being pro' or any variant thereof, not unless there are specific rules of engagement both sides agree to in an organised environment. I.e 'competitive'
You let natural thought flow and play and counterplay go naturally? Tunneling, camping and bully squads is where the game ends up. It's a poorly designed mess on both sides. Poorly balanced perhaps, but it's the design problems which are the culprit of turning the game into a toxic arms race.

Myers can still be in Tier 3 around a hook and one shot.
Trickster can mow people down around a hook.
Billy can mow people down around a hook.
Huntress can intercept a bombing Survivor with a hatchet.
Nemesis zombies can literally facecamp.
Also, Twins can absolutely use their power around hooks - Victor's pounce works just fine.
Oni can 100% slam around hooks.
Pyramidhead can hit MULTIPLE survivors and punishes unhooking around him.

I will keep saying this until I am out of breath, and you people on the forum understand this:
Interacting with the killer is not a victory condition.
This is a team game. A Bubba that camps one person to death while three escape is a team victory for the Survivors. The fact that one person died is part of being part of a collective team. If one person's experience is that OMFG critical, stick to single player games. The entitlement in this community is worse than any other I have ever been a part of and it has gotten so old. We've surpassed League of Legends at this point.
