Console lag
Took a couple of months off from the game to play Elden Ring (and other games)
I get back and console lag is still a thing I see ughh. It genuinely makes me want to take another couple of months off, or just quit all together
it’s so infuriating losing a chase because your game screen freezes for that split second when someone gets an unhook, or injured, or uses a perk ect, and in a game like this a split second can mean the difference between a hit and a near miss
resulting in many, many unearned losses

What really sucks is them still promoting sales and trying to get peoples money despite knowing the game is in this sorry state.
Not fixing the issues is bad enough but still taking peoples money for a product that doesn’t function to a reasonable level that they know will just end in player disappointment is super low and depressing to me.
If it’s not going to get fixed then just delist the game already so we can stop pretending like it will and that they care at all about our long standing suffering.
If it wasn’t for the ‘Road to 60fps’ fake bait then I would’ve stopped playing and saved a lot of money years ago.
I’m a very disgruntled customer, not that they care.

ps3 games have better graphics and are much more optimized both with fps and controller qol than this misery :)
but dont worry, they will make sure to add new skins to the store

Even on next gen the game is starting to feel pretty poor. I just had a month off due to working away from home & I'm getting at least 1-2 big lag glitches every match now. Chases are starting to feel pretty poor & unresponsive when I try to do a basic non lunge attack often resulting in missed hits when the person in pretty much in front of me in my FOV. It's not uncommon to completely lose the player after landing a hit if they spin during the attack. I'm guessing frame drops during the attack and damage animation with the speed boost just make the target very hard to track on some maps.

Sadly, I've experienced my first performance issue on current gen with the new haddonfield

Not surprised, I see even people on pc having some stuttering issues now. Dunno if last update fixed it.
But next gen and pc are still miles better than last gen regarding dbd. And I think they are done with it considering they went silent.
I don't mind anymore honestly, it is what it is. In the end I am the one choosing to play or not.
