Do killer's main weapons have range or something
When I play killer survivors can just go over pallets no problem but when I play survivor I could be over the pallet and still be hit I play Nemesis a lot and well he punched okay so maybe he has a short range weapon when I face huntress she hits me over the pallet so I guess she has a long range weapon of this is a thing then why do all killers have the same cool down then.

All Killers have the same basic attack ranges as far as I recall, was your connection fluctuating by any chance?

Well huntress has hatchets, she can hit over pallets, unless you mean M1 attack.
If you got hit through the pallet as you were vaulting over it, it's normal. If you got hit after you vaulted, it's latency issue, nothing you can do about it sadly.

This is how it works.
The Killer will hit you if your shape is in his cone and he presses attack button.
If he manages to connect a hit as you are traveling over a pallet, it still works.
Works the same with Windows, if the Server says he hits you, he hits you.

Would you be so kind and give this information to Freddy? It always feels like he takes his claws and throws them after me

thats the issue with weapon design, nobody ever sees Pyramid Head hits and goes "that was unfair!" but you'll hear it infinitely more with Freddy, who's weapon visually appears infinitely shorter in comparison.

Nope I have a strong internet connect but hit detection just for some reason is just bad.

Nobody mentioned it, so I assume you already know, but as killer you have two ways to M1. If you just shortly click M1 you will swing your weapon. If you hold down M1 when you click, you'll lunge forward. I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but yeah.
