PC does not belong in crossplay
Cheaters, botters and M&K are having a dinner party at the expense of survivors/killers fun. Epic Games, Steam and Microsoft Store should play against eachother. Consoles shouldn't be dealing with cheaters, botters and M&K users. They already pay money for online membership, so why are they facing these types of people?

You can literally turn off cross play in options.

Go to the settings and turn off the crossplay.

Wait, using M&K is wrong now?
Besides I thought controller was optimal for survivor players......
Also, just turn off crossplay in the options.

I play primarily on console, and I do pretty well for myself, usually as good or better than crossplayers I get matched with.
Also, I'd rather deal with the occasional bot/hacker than wait an eternity in queue, which is what happens with crossplay off (in my experience).

Game came out on PC first, it was also the PC players that played the game enough to give it a chance at even coming to Consoles.
Sure there are hackers, and botters suck, but they are few and far between, I can't agree with the whole M&KB being an issue because they personally only benefit Huntress, Trickster & Deathslinger. (Trickster actually has less recoil on controllers, neat!).
PC Players belong everywhere, just as much as console / stadia etc players.

Good and all, but full cross progression when? We in the PS4 Era have been Left Behind and the hatch isn't showing

Technically. You can technically turn it off. I've tried turning off cross-play on Switch, and after over an hour of waiting I gave up trying to find a match. Not much good for an option if it literally prevents me from playing the game at all.
PC players shouldn't even want to cross-play with console. I dodge lobbies with other Switch players because it's too much, a single Switch player on the survivor team already tanks the match. (I would feel bad about getting everyone killed, but this is on BHVR. There's no brightness slider, the fps is crap, the stuttering is abhorrent, the input lag is the worst of any system, the sensitivity is miserable, and I can't turn off cross-play and still get a match. I can't even run DS to prevent being tunneled out because the "difficult" skill check is actually impossible.) When I play against Switch killers, it's usually pretty boring because they whiff 90% of their attempted hits; people get fudge all for BP in those matches.
There should at least be the option for PC-only cross-play and console-only cross-play.

Turn your crossplay off.
You'll probably only get to play 10% as much, but you'll hit them where it hurts!

Cross play means nothing. I've had 2 cheaters on Xbox, one with speed hacks (no perks/add ons) and the other insta kill on hook (No attempt option given and skipped struggle phase completely)

While you technically can do this, the problem is that you won't find a match after hours of waiting. The reason is because turning crossplay off means you will only be matched with players on your platform who have also turned crossplay off.
You can't match with same platform players who have crossplay on.

Or maybe a system where you can choose which platforms you want in your crossplay. I've never played on Switch, but it sounds way worse than the others. I play primarily on PS5, which was a huge performance upgrade from PS4, and runs DBD comparably to my PC. Obviously not as good, but I don't feel like there is a ton of difference. My ping is usually stable at 30-45.
I'd imagine Series X is similar.
As killer, I do feel like the aim assist on console screws me a lot more often, though.
