|rant| Why are people in this game toxic for no reason genuinely don't understand anymore.
Anyways, blah blah blah console Nurse game on fractured cowshed I don't tunnel its perkless nurse with recharge addons, they get the last 2 gens done everyone is 2 hooked beside one guy can't apply pressure because I am panicking due to not playing Nurse in a while.
It's endgame, I down someone, but too late to get anyone else and they are 2 hooked so no point in trying to go for other people and the other survivors simply leave, I let them go and lead them to the exit gate because I was slugging him to try to lure in survivors who were hiding at the exit gates which they didn't fall for the trick and personally at that point getting him sacrificed wouldn't mean much of anything anyway.
I let him go and he starts teabagging at the exit gate and leaves and I'm honestly just done because I have tried so hard to play as fair as possible no matter what and just let everyone enjoy the game, but the survivors are so toxic lately like the most toxic I have ever seen ever.
I am just ranting here because it's just so frustrating, like trying your best to follow these made-up standards and you still get bmed. I genuinely don't understand what I did to deserve all the toxicity towards me.

I despise Nurse with all my soul, so I can't be neutral here. But next time just play normally and don't pitty give them the exit. Just kill them.

Sorry, but I have no sympathy if you chose to play perkless, had the opportunity to kill the survivor (who you confess you were actually using as bait to start out), and then got teabagged. How does teabagging bother you, when you admittedly decided not to play optimally?

Well their question is, why do survivor or in general all player think as soon as they feel in control they have to taunt and make fun of the opponent aka inducing a negative emotion, frustration/rage, in them?
Why can't they follow the saying "graceful in Victory and defeat"?
But i also know the answer, online anonymity brings the worst out of everyone. As soon as there are no consequences for their behaviour many people just let their unsightly tendencies (no matter the intensity, before you come at me with having a thin skin) run rampant.
I personally think that even anonymous one should stick to the manners they learned during their upbringing. Not that this would help depending on each individual.

I have 1000h into killer, I played my first 200-300 very fair and nice because all of my friends are survivors mains and they kept telling me to play by the survivor rulebook so everyone can have fun, also to them a good killer doesn’t need to camp or tunnel.
I can tell you that no matter how nice or fair I was (giving hatch, resetting when I snowball too early, never tunneling, never camping) I would get insults, tbag, clicking, and be called a camper or a tunneler on my steam profile. You can hook survivor A, then B, then C and found A again and hook him, he will call you a tunneler. You can hook someone, check 3 generators, come back near the hook because it is on your way to another generator, they will call you a camper. As long as they lose, they will find excuses and demonize you, simply because you play killer.
So if you want them to be happy, let them win. If you want to have fun, get rid of that survivor rulebook mindset and play as you want.

It sucks that they t-bagged you after you let them escape for free. Pretty rude when they could have just left and hit next game. The only thing I could think of is they didn't like that you slugged them and used them for bait. Personally, I sometimes rather just have the killer kill me instead of waste my time by leaving me on the ground. Assuming you didn't slug them for an egregious amount of time, the t-bag was unnecessary.
Another explanation is that they were just BMing because you're a nurse and they probably have had a rough time playing. So when they get a nurse who doesn't kill them all in 5-10 minutes, then they feel empowered to take it out on you. You have to remember that DBD is a video game, so a good portion of the playerbase is immature and just children. They don't understand yet that taking their frustrations out on people is not a healthy thing to do, so don't take it too personally. Keep your cool and maybe run non meta perks on nurse next time. Please stay as a pure fair killer, don't let the trolls corrupt you.

Some play for Victory, some play specifically to destroy the competition.
I know a group of people that play together and play just to mock the killer, but the moment the killer mops the floor with them they're all whining and complaining.

Because:
- This game is a machine designed to produce frustration. It's very seldom fair, because a lot of it comes down to a blind wager at the selection screen - if I pick a kitted out Nurse into a solo queue team of meme builds, I'm going to crunch them, and if I pick a memey Pig build into a ninja SWF, I'm going to get wrecked.
- The developers have essentially encouraged people to be nasty to each other, via their whole 'we think smack talk is an important part of online gaming' stance.
- Nastiness and toxicity always propagate outwards.

If you bring a survivor to the exit and they tbag they're literally just saying thank you or ggs, or whatever else. Like really if you take people pressing a button or using one of the 2 emotes this personnally and seriously this when they're the ONLY way of communicating ANYTHING in the game no wonder you're getting frustrated lol, they're trying to tell you something not dancing on your grave..
Even when people are actually tbagging to taunt you it's reallyyy not that serious or "toxic", banter in pvp games never hurt anyone, better tbags than insults in post game chat. Hell, most popular streamers ######### talk their opponent quite often, but i've never seen anyone call otz or whoever toxic for it, it's in-game banter, it's fine as long as they don't insult you afterwards.
